reb78
What engine do you guys think this is? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-2-8-TURBO-DIESEL-ENGINE-CONVERSION-/320712340486?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4aabf1f406 Looks like a 19J to me and so £555 + £55 postage is a bit steep! (i was looking to see if there were any tgv 2.8 engines on there)
western
looks like a 19J turbo diesel to me too, not worth £555 though for a old engine. ask him for the engine number.
SteveRK
missing rocker cover breather pipe, missing washer bottle cap, PVC tape on wiring loom all adds up to a neglected engine
Phil Hancock
I was thinking of offering £50 for it and i have asked him the engine number.
Mo Murphy
Is it worth £50 ?
Les Henson
Looks like A TD engine to me as well, so only 2.5L. Right messy engine bay as well, so not a lot of care has gone into the thing in general. If you buy it - take the head off. 2.5TD engine is a bugger for cracked pistons, and the air filter on it will hide the symptoms of it. Les. reb78
Just remembered this and checked it again - someone paid £400 for a knackered looking 19J!! Someone was ripped off!
CwazyWabbit
He changed the listing on the 17th of June and it sold as a 2.5L unknown engine....
