Water Jet or Laser Cutting

Does anybody here do either of the above or work for a company that does?

I am looking for somebody that can cut some letters, approx. 20mm high, in a piece of 2.5mm mild steel.

Which process would do the neatest job?

Not looking for a freebe, I'll pay the going rate.

Peter.

I can recommend ESP Laser, not near you but their prices and delivery times are good, will take bank card and post.

For waterjet I use Locate Supplies. It depends what your planning to do with the letters which process you use. I tend to stick with laser cutting for metal & waterjet for plastic.

Dave, NAS90 on here runs Cirrus Laser - who both laser and water jet cut. They are the best quality cutters I've found and yet far from the most expensive. Dave would probably give you a good deal because of the Land Rover connection!

They cut everything for X-Eng - so I believe in them to the extent of putting my money where my mouth is!
