IIRC the wheel should stay on the ground or be just off. Don't know if it will work for you but worth a try I think This is the only workshop use I've found for a Hi-Lift. Either for ease or necessity, I can't remember which. *edit* - just checked with the old man, it was out of necessity to fit a straight through 'decat' pipe. gadget Posted August 19, 2012 Author Share Posted August 19, 2012 Crossmember had to come off and also the front ARB needs unbolting from the chassis too. I wouldn't worry about unbolting it from the turbo those bolts came off easily. The bolts between the downpipe and the mid section sheared on me.
