poohbear
Hi all, not posted in the series section before, but being in need of a new project I have come across this: This is all the info I have: Most were taken today, the last 2 photos were taken in 2000, which was the last time it ran. Dad towed it up the barn, where it sits today. Its a 1957 Series 1 pick up. 2ltr original engine. A project that needs finishing. He is asking for £2600, which is at the low end of what LRO magazine says its worth. Does this seem a reasonable asking price? thanks, Dave. CwazyWabbit
Go on buy it! You know you want to! More seriously though, how much of a project do you want? and how rotten is it? Very easy to get pulled in by the romance of it and end up taking on a project where you end up virtually making the chassis again from scratch. steve b
Nice , what is the bulkhead like ? particularly top rail under screen . Brake m/c is another area that can cost ££s It looks to have all original lights and interior stuff incl switchs and even rear view mirror , If the engine is good as well then its probably worth the price, and would look great on the road as it is cheers Steveb
