MogLite
I would like to borrow a challenge spec LR for an hour - preferably this Sunday. I don't want to drive it, but perform an experiment. I recently weighed MogLite using a fancy set of scales, I've got to give these back in a couple of weeks. During the post a link was posted about how to calculate centre of gravity and roll-over angles In a Brainiac science style experiment I'd like to compare MogLite against a more traditional LR, ideally 35's +2 inch lift External cage Front & Rear winches The maths will give Exact weight on each corner Centre of gravity Angle of roll front/back Angle of roll side/side The PITA is you've got to get the vehicle 2'+ in the air at the front wheels, I've just tried this with hi-lifts etc and its bloody dangerous, so we can use the bed of my recovery truck as a ramp. I think it would make for some very interesting numbers. Only snag is - I'm lazy, so you'll have to come to me - Hampshire - SO21 Any takers ? GBMUD
It is not Hampshire I know but Slindon is on this weekend so there will be a variety of Landrovers and others there. It is also not too far from some parts of Hampshire. Chris

RocKeR
As Chris said, Andy, Your best bet might be to pop over to Slindon for the day and bribe someone with a burger and Mars bar!

Its a 90 mile round trip for me. I'm not that bothered, just thought it would be a useful comparison.

Turbocharger
If you want to post or pony-express your bling bathroom scales to me, I'd be interested to tilt, wobble and roll my Ninety on the farm trailer at home and see if it weighs more when its upside down...
