Wanted Challenge spec LR

MogLite

Recommended Posts

I would like to borrow a challenge spec LR for an hour - preferably this Sunday.

I don't want to drive it, but perform an experiment.

I recently weighed MogLite using a fancy set of scales, I've got to give these back in a couple of weeks.

During the post a link was posted about how to calculate centre of gravity and roll-over angles :D

In a Brainiac science style experiment I'd like to compare MogLite against a more traditional LR, ideally

  • 35's
  • +2 inch lift
  • External cage
  • Front & Rear winches

The maths will give

  • Exact weight on each corner
  • Centre of gravity
  • Angle of roll front/back
  • Angle of roll side/side

The PITA is you've got to get the vehicle 2'+ in the air at the front wheels, I've just tried this with hi-lifts etc and its bloody dangerous, so we can use the bed of my recovery truck as a ramp.

I think it would make for some very interesting numbers.

Only snag is - I'm lazy, so you'll have to come to me - Hampshire - SO21

Any takers ?
