Alloy wheels

Recommended Posts

Personally I much prefer Land Rover's on steel wheels. Alloys tend to detract from the look IMO.

However there are many factory alloys and the PCD is the same for the classic Range Rover and Discovery 1. Most will fit, although some the centre bore is too small, so you might need to avoid or do something to the alloy.

Not sure if some can foul the brakes too.

And you may need longer studs, but not sure. As I say, I'd personally not run alloys on such a vehicle anyway, so not really looked into it.

There are adapter kits, essentially wheel spacers with a different PCD on the outside that will alloy Disco 2 and newer (p38a, L322, RRS, D3/4, etc) alloys to fit. But you'll probably being going up in price.

Have a look round the Land Rover online shops, most will sell aftermarket wheels of some description. And will give you an idea what is available.
