  1. I wondered that ! In fact - is it off centre on both sides or just one?
  2. Yes that doesn’t look centred does it .... Are the turrets ‘sided’ ? (gwyn’s are) Or would they flip 180° round to put the shock more in the centre ?
  3. I had Gwyn Lewis shock turrets - and I really liked them, loads of space, galvanised, and a nice simple design to keep clean. He did them in. Std height and +2, which requires the turret covers cutting or removing. Where are they catching? Are your new shocks a wider body? I can’t remember what the fronts are .... but if they are pin to pin, could you turn them upside down ?
  4. It’s looking really good James, should be proud of that 😊 Have you lights going into the loft space ? Is there an ETA for the 110 chassis coming over?
  5. What a good idea ! At first I thought ‘oh you’ve lost that extra light’ but a dry wipe board is a good swap ! James, what’s left to do ? 🙂
  6. Could you integrate the trigger sensor mount into that plate ?
  7. Could you not space the whole alternator bracket forward?
  8. We should focus on Simon's question - but I don’t know it’s value.
  9. They look very good ! You have a lot of wire too. ..
  10. Now Bowie may well be posting this as I type ... https://www.championpowersports.eu/assets/II-Partnumbering-structure.pdf but the 4 is just what the gap comes pre-set as.
  11. Could I make a radical suggestion....? Turn it into a D2 100” hi cap Defender like @mudmonkey ?
  12. I think the number at the end is just what the gap comes set at .... which is a bit weird.
  13. Oh bloody hell 😂 I’ll back off - or we can take it in turns ?
  14. That’s a good question .... I don’t know what it means. The codes are broken down here. https://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/spark-plug-symbol-codes/ I’ve read it and still done understand it.
  15. My understanding is that it’s not illegal to use it - but using it would give you a Q plate: https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration/radically-altered-vehicles Using it whilst keeping the original registration - or adopting the registration originally associated with the chassis will be an offence - because you’re not following the statutory requirements.... though I don’t know what statutes it is.
  16. New ones don’t have a previous ID though - that’s the difference.
  17. Go for it !! I think it’s mainly NGK that have the carp copies - so a safer option too 😊👍🏻
