  1. To buy one new is gonna be expensive, eBay Facebook and try the wanted section on here someone might be able to help and any breakers you can find .
  2. That’s what I’m starting to think western, it just intrigued me as to what it was.
  3. Yes mate , the vents and various other bits screw too it , did you get your fuel filler neck the other day? that’s mine I’ve modded that for the wiper mod I’m doing so original is slightly different, try miketomcat again he’ll have one if he hasn’t sold it.
  4. I’m gathering that you know what the big black plate looks like, but here’s a few pics how it goes together, any pictures or questions you have or would like just ask dash is on the floor in bits so not a problem, plate goes in like so there’s a few plastic nuts like below for screws on the plate you’ll see the square holes 5 I think for these then binnacle goes on like this with big screws hope this helps, the black plate has lots of holes square and round for various fixings for dash vents and such it’s easier to get all these fitted before you fit the plate.
  5. I did think that but what’s the support pulveriser all about , or just bad translation as it’s obviously from across the channel.
  6. I could google but chances of me finding out what it is are probably zilch so thought I’d ask on here as your a learnered lot , what is this for ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153075975044 It lists it for Land Rover 200tdi injectors etc8412 as well as Leland , is it some sort of fuel rail mod ? cheers Ian
  7. Looks like your missing the back panel mate, I’ll put some pics up for you tomorrow as the dash on the project is in bits.
  8. Sounds good I’ll definitely look into it more, I’ve got skytag on the 110 but that’s £7 a month .
  9. No mate must have thrown it , have a look in the for sale bit miketomcat is breaking a 200tdi he might be able to help.
  10. I’ll have a look in the morning mate I might have a filler neck about.
  11. Did a few other bits , welded the wiper motor frame back up , dressed that off and as the video above got that to work , then tacked the end panel of the dash on to the main bit checked it fit the welded it with a few runs along the edge , it got welded together because I need to remove that corner as it fowls the motor and there's really no need to have it removable separate anymore , and finally welded the bottom fixing bolts in the channel , and a cleaned up bracket , next step a spot of paint and I'll measure everything up do some drawings and post them up if any bodies interested .
  12. https://youtu.be/Zkcz0MGj5ZY try that . FINGERS CROSSED .
  13. No worries mate , If you take a little at a time you can always take a bit more but you can’t always put some back when you’ve took too much.
  14. Would give it chance to dry properly while your waiting for other materials , without you itching too get all your stuff in when you've finished .
  15. Like this mate , that’s taken side on, have you got a drill put a deburrer in it take bits out at a time , if it was me I’d do it like this make a template with big hole just big enough to get the filler through it and small holes marked on it , tape it on to the truck in the recess with the big hole central over the other one , then mark all your holes , then using a deburrer take the excess out slowly so you don’t take to much out . One of these, Or a sanding drum of a air grinder.
  16. Make a cardboard template of the plate around the filler neck and mark the hole positions then once you’ve opened the hole up pop that on mark and drill away, the breather goes up if you didn’t know, have fun .
  17. It works yippee, got videos but how do I upload them ? Tried with phone but file to big , could I do it through windows cloud ?
  18. Would have a second battery anyway so not a real problem.
  19. As you have the filler and tank from an early truck and the hoses are different diameters , plus it’s cheaper I’d do as suggested above and enlarge the hole . Here’s a couple of pictures, I can’t get in to measure the hole for you as there’s no room .
  20. They look quite good for the price.
  21. First is tdi , tub looks like td5 you can’t fit the one you have , the td5 ones push into the hola from underneath. I’ll take some pics for you my 110 is a 200tdi and I converted the 300tdi to a later rear tank so tub is same as yours.
  22. Well had a bit of a bad day yesterday , forgot to take some photos , banged my head on the dash more times than I can remember and it was always on a pointy bit cut my finger a couple of times and had a small electrical fire as I wired the motor up wrong , which I have had it running with my test rig loads of times but yesterday it wanted to burn . Still nothing ruined and the motor was fine after made a new test wiring up and had it running , but that didn't go to plan the arm on the motor was catching on the frame and the bulkhead when it was all bolted up just here , so after much swearing and foul obscenities I said to the damn motor and called it a day , so tomorrow or Monday depending on my mood as I finished the head lining off today and the carpet came so might fit that tomorrow I shall alter the frame so the motor sits about 10-20mm lower or I could grind the bit of the bulkhead off , It didn't catch the frame before but I didn't have that rubber in between the plate and frame but when the frame was pulled back slightly it ran okay so there is a bright side after all .
  23. I want to fit an alarm to my project, I know I can get after market ones but have seen these genuine ones, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193291670230 mom eBay britcar sell them are they any good ? Or can someone recommend one ?
  24. There is a cheaper way , get a length of tube , then where you want the bend to be cut a series of angled slots ( like slices of pie ) in it pointing to the point of the bend , do that till you get the angle you want , weld it up and fettle it smooth jobs a gud un .
