  4. Yeah I really wanted 11B wheels but are quite expensive and hard to find.
  5. yeah when we got the wheels and tyres we was undecided which way to go so decided to run with them in black and repaint them later if i decide to do that which i have now 🙂
  6. You mean for the bulkhead between the hi/low lever and pedals i keep meaning to get one myself but keep forgetting 😕

  8. Son is going to re-spray the wheels at the weekend in Limestone and I've got some rubber Matt's coming for the front as well so hopefully they should be done in the week as well 😀
  9. When i first stripped my 2a down for a full restoration i mistakenly thew mine away☹️ and had to but a used one took me months to find one but got one in the end think i bought it with a load of other stuff i didn't need, hope you find one though good luck 🙂

  11. Hi guys Yesterday with it being roasting I managed to fit the heater as when I did the rebuild the restored replacement bulkhead was made up of an early 2a bottom half and a later 2a top half so the holes was only there for the older round type heater and min's the later flat type heater so had to drill fresh holes in the bulkhead and once fitted and had the 200tdi engine running I can honestly say it was toastie and can honestly say it's the first time I've has a decent heater in a series then I fitted the new spare in the back which I had recently bought but as the original wheel retainer was missing I made my own and primed ready for repainting all the wheels in Limestone as I've gone off them being Black, pic's to follow
  12. Yes I'm hoping to be doing this using the Heystee kit, was hoping to fit both front and rear kits but think Heystee have stopped doing the rear disc conversion now so will just be doing the front conversion instead
  13. Hi guys Just wondered with this Corona virus going on and everything being cancelled I just wondered if it's still on anyone know 🙂
  14. Yes I second all of this having recently completed a 2a rebuild Inc a 200tdi, HRTC and 3.54 diffs which I think it was snagged or fridge that warned me against but having already fitted all this before I was warned I wanted to try it and I half like it and half don't meaning as what's been said it's to hi geared for town work but usable if u use first gear and way over geared for motorway work meaning it runs out of puff before it runs out of gearing, if I'm honest it's more suited for flat country work , no good for towing and would probably need to use low box for hill starts, I did for a short spell try one of my old 4.71 diffs which was better for towing and town work but was absolutely useless on a motorway meaning it ran out of gearing before it ran out of puff but as I'm doing the Billing trip in June and a couple of motorway trips before hand I've decided to refit the 3.54 diff but plan to obtain another gearbox with a std tranny box may try it with the 3.54 diff first and see how it is and sell the HRTC and the other gearbox as one unit
  15. I had this years ago on my then S2a and it turned out to be the bulkhead was flexing due to rot, was ok revving it stationary but when driving and coming to a junction and braking the engine would go to a fast idle till you stopped, renovated the bulkhead during a ground up rebuild curved it 🥱
  16. Its funny as i had a run out to Matlock yesterday lol
  17. Hi guys I was looking out of the living room window just now and couldn't believe my eyes but you will need to blow the pic's up as i couldn't get close enough to get a decent pic
  18. Yeah i won't buy anything to heavy as i have a Titan SDS drill and that is heavy but all my air tools and battery tools are a lot lighter so should be ok 😀
