I want to change a few things though as originally the 2a was being done to be sold for the wedding so although they are brand new and fitted I will be replacing the std leaf springs for Parras and may replace the front brakes for disc brakes if I can and get the gearbox overhauled if I can get my bro pizzed enough to agree to doing it then everything else will be as planned
Haha, yeah time is dragging on now and we don't think the 2a will done in time for sons wedding so we all had a chat about it and decided on swapping the 90 for the 2a and selling the 90 for the wedding and I get to keep the 2a
Well as I have been working on the 90 all week I have exhausted all the free timber I was given so had a quick walk to Asda for some logs and I noticed straight away with using the logs the stove got hotter so when the 90 is back on the road I will go and get a bag full of kiln dried logs so I can use them straight away and see how they go
I know what you mean as soon as it arrived I put it two work drilling holes to move the shelving from around the newly fitted log stove and fitting them else where in the garage and it only took a split second to drill through the wall I was moving the shelfs, really impressed
Thanks for the info, yeah as its got a disco 200 fitted and would like to use the 200 power steer pump but don't want to mod the new galv chassis so was thinking if I could use something like the heystee kit but some how connect it up to the 200's power steer pump
Yeah tbh I am off for a week next week and once I have done a couple of jobs on the 90 for its M.O.T. we will start work on insulating the wall where the stove is aswell as insulate where the wood is being stored in the garage next to the stove which should throw more heat out
Hi guys
Not saying I am going to do it but just need to know, does anyone do a power steer kit for a Disco 200tdi'd S11 / 111 and is it worth doing, if no why
Yeah that's what puts me off using pallets as I have been told they burn too quick, had another burn today using some of the free timber I got whilst getting the 2a rolling chassis ready for putting out side and covered up for when I do the wheel bearings on the 90 next week and noticed heat wise if I kept it stoked up it throws out loads of heat with the door open on the stove, just hope its just as warm in there with a full vehicle in there but will see
Got to get a few jobs done on the 90 next weekend ready for its M.O.T. so it will be interesting how warm it will be in the garage with a full vehicle in there
Sorry what I meant was peeps say go into the woods and chop up dead wood so I assumed that is what peeps are doing, I have two local woods to me and both are council owned, do I still need permision
