Fitted the radiator onto my front panel, intercooler set up First off folded some 3mm aluminium to the shape I required slid into place, very neat fit Small gap between radiator and intercooler close but not touching power steering box I could retake pictures in daylight if anybody wants me too looking to add a steel supporting bracket under aluminium brackets to give more support as aluminium flexing a wee bit with the weight, which will only get heavier once filled with coolant regards Stephen
  2. How long to order brake lines really.......... He was in a very good mood today, discussed everything from politics to gender, but after about an hour we discussed what I needed.   3. Battery tried in battery box, nice neat fit, just need a roll over clamping system fitted regards Stephen

  5. Bit of luck for me, local tool hire had the consumables I needed to finish battery box off, so it's all done now regards Stephen

Decided to make battery box out of 3mm aluminium this morning, unfortunately did not have a sheet big enough to fold up totally so had to do it in sections Tigged where needed top section cut out and tacked on, waiting for consumables to finish ( postal strike ) in position to see how it looks clearance for nuke mounts regards Stephen

  8. On the back of this I knocked up a very quick proper die for future use works on Flat sheet fine so should be grand on pipe regards Stephen

  11. Kenlow fan blade refurbish...lol I know, totally unnecessary, but it's very wet outside, waiting for paint to dry inside and I was at a loose end for a few minutes This Add this Equals this....lol Used this stuff on Motorhome bumper, good stuff lasts for ages Regards Stephen

  13. Won these Q max sheet metal cutters on ebay with a cheeky £11 bid Probably use them for some of the holes that need to go in my bulkhead 2x20mm, 25mm and 32mm Regards Stephen
  14. It could certainly create a grinding noise, also check your lt230 output shaft for play, possibly upload a soundtrack of the noise your experiencing for people to listen to. Did you check the prop shaft joints/greased them ? what vehicle is it regards Stephen
  15. Never had a 3.9 but if it has been ok without one and factory spec doesn't require it I would just build it up @Bowie69 is pretty well clued up on V8 engines, he may offer some sage advice regards Stephen
  16. Learnt a hard lesson today, don't trust what your told and measure regardless So this Has now been cut off and turned into this Why ? Well this intercooler is obviously not for a 200 tdi and I should have measured up because when trying to put things together boxed section was well in the way to allow radiator to be installed, not happy with myself !! Sorted now so I'm relatively happy again regards Stephen

  18. You mentioned fitting a lift kit, have you or anybody done anything else, if the prop shaft angles are unequal this could create noise through the universal joints regards Stephen
  19. A friend of ours does that, has panel on a long lead so can be positioned to best effect, easy to alter to track the sun Regards Stephen
  20. Just sticking to where Ross was going, is there room under the rack where you could have panels that slide out to the sides of rack from underneath, they could then slide back in and locked into position until they were required again regards Stephen

  22. Small job tonight, new brackets and some basic shrouding for my kenlow fan, old brackets no good due to addition of intercooler First some easy steelwork then the easy shrouding so easy to cut with a bandsaw Regards Stephen
