Part of me is undecided with what to do in this area at the moment ,hence the end caps I was thinking of hinging both ends and using the cross member for storage ie; a place to put ground anchor pins, the caps will be very easy to remove, 10mm welded plate end caps not so easy ..lol Regards Stephen
  2. I lied !!! Was at a loose end so thought I would progress gearbox tunnel Out with the night lights Not fitting too bad after a wee bit of cutting, a little bit of work in the shrinker stretcher and I think it will be OK seat box plate over the top will neaten it up regards Stephen

Gearbox tunnel progressed, been a long afternoon's work First off some former / jig making Cleaned up Use of new toy Hole cut in aluminium sheet put into jig started hammer forming At this point I decided to annealed the aluminium again Recess for gator more or less completed Dark now so that will do for today regards Stephen

You will need to look at available space around where you plan on putting it, if your not allowed to fix it down properly then you will need to build a load spreading framework that lies on the ground and then the lift can be bolted to it. I would suggest H section or channel , obviously your lift will sit higher so you need to take that into consideration, will be ok with a 4x4 but lower cars might be an issue regards Stephen

Any good advice with the steering out there This is where I'm at, original shaft can be moved out of position slightly but still interferes with shock space I have found this in my stores but don't know what it is off I would have to figure out how to match them up unless I'm a joint missing and I could buy one. I can elongate the steering shaft hole and move steering in slightly which would also help things ???regards Stephen

  18. Prices for the series heated windscreen seem very reasonable to me, but what else would I need, obviously a switch, do you just connect in via fuse board of will I need a relay or two. This might seem basic to you guys but I am totally moronic when it comes to the dark art of electricity regards Stephen

  20. I've never had the luxury of a heated workshop, if your working you tend not to notice it as much. I always find its easier to warm up when working than it is to cool down when your too hot Anyway you get used to the cold up north......... Regards Stephen
