I see where your going, the heat is not great but it is enough to keep the Windows defrosted, especially in the present conditions This will be where you tell me you don't have a heater cos it's too heavy for the little green thing...... Lol regards Stephen -

Agreed, for that sort of money you could buy new sides, have a tub folded and put it together yourself, let's be right, after about 12 months use they would end up looking the same I reckon regards Stephen

You need to be sitting down when you view the price list, more expensive than a galvanised chassis !!! Regards Stephen

Thanks Bit of a false impression when your looking at it, body and chassis raised at the moment ( note the trolley jack at the nearside bumper end ) to level things out, also a 5" drop over standard axle due to the portals , hence seeing more of the spring. Springs are 1" lower than standard where as springs were + 2" prior to portal conversion regards Stephen -

My floor standing bandsaw converts to vertical with a vice mounted table I made, very quickly and easily regards Stephen
-
Yes coloured with heat regards Stephen
-
I guess I like the coloured one better, probably helps that I got the feather lines finer, did the non coloured with a chisel and the coloured one with a sharpened scotching hammer regards Stephen
-
The one I'm using is from Mr bandsaw, not a Milwaukee blade On a different note I fitted a new axminster blade to my other bandsaw and it snapped 30 seconds in, this will be the 3rd axminster blade that's done that, I will weld it back together as I have before and get more use out of it regards Stephen
-
Opinions required gentlemen , if you don't mind of course So I mentioned I was going to try and make some angel wings for my good lady ( she is unaware of this ) I've made a couple of feathers, one coloured with heat one not, what do you guys think ? Go with it or just forget about it The plan is to join them together like So obviously I have lots to make in various sizes, what do you think yay or nay TIA regards Stephen
-
What's quite surprising about this bandsaw is that it cuts way faster than my Axminster floor standing one ????? Regards Stephen
