  4. To be honest John , The way our trucks are changing lately the bolt on thing is probably best for removal and refit .

  6. I guess it depends on how well the powder coating is applied , I blasted the powder coating off my Mach 5`s with Jblast and it took about a whole bag to do each wheel .I had a small nozzle fitted though .
  7. Shot blast is going to be the easiest option , Espesialy if you get someone else to do it , If your going down the mechanical removal or blowtorch route make sure you have some breathing apperatus as that **** gives of some nasty toxic fumes .
  8. Bish that reminds me, How much did you pay P&P for your carrage on your front hoop ? I picked up a £35 bill for carrage of a set of flat pack wing bars

  11. It depends , But if your going for MSA spec which is advisable ,They specify a minimum of 125mm2 and a minimum of 6mm thickness . Then the bolt hole must be no less than 11/2 the diameter of the bolt away from the edge of the plate . The MSA rules are a bit of a minefield but once you have read them a few times and digested them it s plain sailing .
  12. Ok heres some more , Not a standard 90 chassis I know , But the ideas are the same . All plates and support bearers are from 6mm plate .

  14. Arc welders are handy not just for welding but also when cranked right up they also cut very well ,
  15. Thats a different way of saying it , Simply cut to the desired size using a parralel V block and simply superglue both ends together . It can get messy

  18. Excellent service from them every time , I usualy ring them on a monday or PM Dave on a sunday , Within a short while I get a reply of an action plan and by tuesday the parts are there .

  22. Ive got a copy on DVD from Bushboctor AKA Bushy on here from when he and Andy were there in 2005 . Its great listening to his broad Bristol accent on the commentry .
