  1. The commercials certainly did , I would get the chassis made to suit the D2 running gear , even the steering box .
  2. Does this mean we have to bring more Jaffa cakes now then Bish ?
  3. Or is it these , http://www.iem-services.co.uk/showdetails.asp?id=492 Super seal connectors are widely used on hgv and marine applications , I use them a lot on the 90 , they realy do seal well
  4. b101uk ,Have you ever experienced the wrath of one of JST`s full challenges ? Hes evil I tell you ,pure unadulterated evil , He likes to see you fit your truck through 3ft gaps under 5 ft of water half way up a 200ft sheer cliff , and thats after one of his mind game Special Stages , Not that I would want to discourage anyone
  5. The Azalia do a nice conversion for Land rovers , http://www.azalai.co.uk/ As for a VW , the only worthy 4x4 is the syncro ,
  6. Looks like entries are still avalible , Confirmed teams , 1: Team Last Men 2: Innovate 4x4 3. Wooldridge demolition Interested parties , CSW CRAG only about 4 1/2 weeks to kick off

  8. Cheers Ralph , Your a star , Number 5 on diagram http://www.bearmach.com/partscatalogues/Di...parts_A4_lo.pdf Best Give TOR 4x4 a ring in the morning
  9. Im after the part number if it exists for the steel delivery pipe on a Discovery 2 power steering box , The one that comes with the box and not the flow and return pipes . It delivers the fluid from the top of the box to the rack piston housing Im guessing it might be an adwest or whoever makes them part number .
  10. You need to seal em up well with plenty of RTV , I fitted one to my 200 defender and after it was parked for a month out in the rain it used to fill the air box up with water even with a bag over the top , Found it was coming over the wing into the base of the snorkel . I did have a near miss one day when I started it , Nearly hydrauliced the thing . So take plenty of RTV to it .
  11. I fitted an ADR switch to my truck , The type used on fuel tankers , With a remote switch/switches situated anywhere you fancy . Once you activate the switch the engine dies immediatly then after 2 seconds the batteries isolate , This time delay gives the alternators time to stop charging before shut down .They also isolate both poles . They are a bit pricey though http://www.fleetelectrical.co.uk/feavbis007-77-p.asp
  12. Very nice job there dude , Are you in full prodution yet ? and How much £
  13. By the look of it there seems to be a few teams dropping out , If not enough teams fill the slots can we run 6 vehicle teams , Got someone very interested making the Innovate numbers grow .
  14. James , It seems that BWoRC has now dis-banded ,for whatever reasons , I have spoken with the Team Captain and he and many of his team will not be entering , So it leaves a nice space for Martin and the CSW crew . I know that Martin is looking for a couple of team members to complete his team , as most of the CSW crew are at Buckies grande opening of new stores that weekend . Most entries from Innovate are in and paid in full , But we have had a change of team members so all to be revealed on Sat along with payment from our coach Tim Jones .
  15. Its the Orange Tariff thats putting me off a bit , Last time I had Orange was about 10 years ago and I wrecked a good van roof trying to get a decent signal .
  16. Im starting to get to like this phone
  17. Has anyone got one of these S1 phones yet ? Im just about to sack my Vodafone contract ,and i do like the sound of the ruggedness of the LR phone but just need convicing before I get one .
  18. Wouldnt 8.1mm bore pipe be a lot more restrictive on flow as a 1/2" bore pipe and cause a heat build up . I for one would not permit my Autobox to raise above 100 deg , That why the coolers and the flow rate are adequate for my application . If your reaching temps as high as 240, well your box is toast . I have questioned the use of ATF through my hoses to my Hose supplier , Not a problem i am assured , after all we use the same hose grade on our cranes and earthmovers i have been told .

  20. The std metal pipes were about 12.5mm ID , so thats why I thought it better to stay about the same with two wire 1/2" hose rather than restrict the flow with anything any smaller , The results im more than happy with . David what size ID is -6 Teflon ? Heres mine in an un crimped state ,
  21. 1/2" pipes coupled to a setrab air cooler , 300 tdi , Hp22 . rarley goes over 90 deg on a good doggin Have you changed your pipes yet Steve
  22. If your still after some Will , I bought 6m to do my rear arms ,Got a bit left .
