  1. This is going to be one special rig when finished! 😍 Cheers Dave
  2. Nothing worse than snapping a tap in a hole that was too tight! DAMHIKπŸ€ͺ Need to get me some of this... Cheers Dave
  3. I always thought the pitch was the distance between the "peaks" of the thread rather than the depth of the "troughs"πŸ€” Cheers Dave
  4. I've used HEL many times, all custom. Good price, top quality. You don't want a brake line ****ting itself, pay an extra few quid, job done!🧐 30 ish quid per line under a metre Custom Car Braided Brake Lines (helperformance.com) Cheers Dave
  5. No real progress. Been working on neighbors Rangie. (full brake system rebuild, front axle/diff rebuild, and random other jobs) This weekend start prepping to pour new concrete slab (bigger shed!) Got remote oil filter parts. Now have both front wing panels. Have to disassemble 3 pairs of wings to make one good pair... Cheers Dave
  6. Ullrich Aluminium, just down the road from you Serg. Custom extrusions! 😍 I've got early Rocky Mountain tops here if you want to "replicate" the profile. Cheers Dave Ullrich | Custom Aluminium Extrusions
  7. Yep, said 3 inches in the article I read...🧐
  8. K110/Serg, "Hold my beer!" 🀣🀣🀣 Alloy framed tig'd masterpiece coming up...
  9. Completely custom. Alloy bulkhead. Composit body panels, ally suspension parts. 2.0 diesel from a Rover car. 500kgs lighter than a 90!
  10. Check out these doors Serg.... Land Rover LCV2, a lightweight prototype from 1997. 13 were made. BMW axed the project. I wonder if there are any spare doors kicking about...πŸ€” Cheers Dave
  11. Nice! Lotsa work! I'm also doing 200mm only so I can fit the BRZ seats. I might even finish before you! πŸ€ͺ Cheers Dave
  12. Are you doing extended cab, if so, how much? Cheers Dave
  13. Mint as usual! Did you fabricate the bolt on bracket on the right then go welded? Cheers Dave
  14. The first tap chart I checked suggested a 13mm drill for an M14 1.5 Maybe do a test hole at 13mm and see how it looks? Cheers Dave
  15. Mustn't be Scorpio discs then. Measure the diameter and PCD then cross reference them. The pix above look Land Rover PCD, maybe Range Rover classic rears? (or fronts) Cheers Dave
  16. Measure your disc diameter. Check the Scorpio disc specs. Fronts will likely be vented, rears solid. Fronts will be larger diameter than rears. Then confirm stud pattern (PCD) Cheers Dave πŸ™ƒ (I just checked for you...😘) Product details Brake Disc Rotors: front (ventilated) GT number: 0707GT Diameter: 278mm Max. thickness: max 24mm / min: 22mm Centering hole diameter: 63,60mm Height: 47mm Number of holes: 4 OEM Number: 1513979, 4056031, 4070864, 5026785, 6676462 For SCORPIO II (GFR, GNR, GGR) SALOON / ESTATE (10.1994-08.1998) 2.9 i 24V (152kW/207HP) Fits SCORPIO II GFR GNR GGR SALOON ESTATE 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 Brand Ford Manufacturer: EBC Dimensions number of holes: 4/253x11mm/height: 34mm Page Left and Right Made in the UK Rear axle application area Tuning & Styling Part: Yes Turbo Groove disc version Registration without registration Colour coating black Model Scorpio 1 Manufacturer Part Number: GD280-8 Non-ventilated version Product Type: Brake Discs Type GGE Scope of delivery: 2 pieces
  17. I read somewhere that the under tub crossmembers/stiffeners are exactly the same part from S1 to 2016 Defer!🧐
  18. My 109 tub donor has a remarkably good crossmember and chassis. I'm considering using the 109 crossmember and rear chassis cut instead of my TD5 one which is full of useless holes.
  19. I'm using a 109 tub. Shortened 400mm at the back, fabricating an under-cab bulkhead (for 150mm cab extension), possibly re-shape the arches. Cheers Dave
  20. Are you building the tub from all new parts? How is the height of the crossmember in relation to the bottom of the tub back? I want to steal your knowledge before welding mine!πŸ€ͺ Cheers Dave
  21. Ah! Thought you were avoiding electrickery...πŸ˜‚
  22. Once you get your head around it there are not a lot of wires to make the engine run! πŸ™ƒ
