  1. phone dave marsh at qt, I had my full boxer kit inc filters off him. it was donkey's ago though. I binned them on ebay and went injection, twice as good as carbs.
  2. In my 110 i have just put a 200 disco and a defender r380 but have kept the 1.6 transfer box. its ace! flat out is about 76mph, that is with 205 fedimas. but i do a fair amount of towing so the low gearing suits me. try a 1.4 and see what you think, you can always change it!
  3. look up this item on the bay and send the seller a question with your requirements 220025578699 I've had a few tanks and other bits and pieces off him, very reasonable price wise and excellent quality. full custom tanks are not a problem. must be worth a try?

  12. i've been trialling for 10 ish years now, always run with tubes and 10psi front and rear. never damaged a tube yet. last 2 years i've had a 4.6 v8 spinning the wheels. still no tube trouble.
  13. wide angle props were fitted as standard on the rear of range rovers up to 1976ish. just cut and shut yourself. its easy, i've done loads.
  14. Why not go along to a local comp safari event and look at the motors there and decide for yourself. I race in jeans and a jumper. rules state that arms and legs must be covered. no mention of fia overalls. as for helmets, an msa approved sparco helmet can be bought from demon tweeks for £55. the bike standard (gold?) is not permitted because it is not strong enough. it is worked out on a crushing system. bike are much lighter than a vehicle. people who race have their motors built to spec for very little money. you can spend as much or as little as you want.
  15. i have got at stiho (i think) lg40 from www.johndavies.co.uk £750ish. will cut 8-10mm and sevre 12mm. once you've used one you will wonder how you lived without one.
