  2. Nice Fobco Here I use a really old pillar drill (cant remember what breed) that was 3 phase and got converted to single phase, cant beat old properly made tools like that Not modern biscuit tin carp
  3. And having experienced your motor on fire I can honestly say that AFFF is carp. But that is one of the extinguishers that the MSA recognise to pass scrutineering
  4. The limiter on my balanced 4.6 was dropped to 5800 rpm, plus its not worth revving a 4.6, grunt is low down
  5. If its a comp safari set up you want, i am currently helping out (though i seem to do most) on building a rear engined indy. This has a BMW evo M3 engine (360something bhp) and a 6 speed sequential My personal choice would be a honda type r engine and a sequential.
  6. 94 v8 should (i think) be a full serpentine, just before that poss 92-93 they did a partial v partial serp setup. someone may be able to tell you for definite. sorry its a bit vague, but may point you in the right direction.
  7. My vote is definitely Allisport! Why not try him for an odd shaped full width to clear the winch? keep trying on the phone, coz as already been said he's moving to a bigger premises.
  8. Exhaust wrap is very good for soaking up any oil or power steering fluid and catching fire! just my 2p's worth.

  10. Does the tank have any baffles or a swirl pot in it, it sounds like the pick up may not be in the fuel on the climbs.
  11. I'd say £200-£300 somewhere there would be fair. I paid £230 for the last one I bought (complete diff).

  13. I ran one on my old racer, lock to lock and flat out used to make it puke its guts everywhere. Once the 13 row cooler was fitted I never had a problem again.

  17. I've had a Hobbart now for 4 years, very comfortable, and flexible for getting in those tight places. was about £100 4 years ago. but well recommended.
  18. tf prop is skinny so that it clears the bellhousing/adapter on full bump.
  19. Will a serp v8 alt fit a 300?????? these are available in 120amp+ Not sure if this helps you but someone else might be able to say yea or nay.
  20. I always put tubes in even on tubeless tyres. If you run them at low pressure offroad you're almost guarunteed to knock the tyre off the rim!
