And having experienced your motor on fire I can honestly say that AFFF is carp. But that is one of the extinguishers that the MSA recognise to pass scrutineering
If its a comp safari set up you want, i am currently helping out (though i seem to do most) on building a rear engined indy. This has a BMW evo M3 engine (360something bhp) and a 6 speed sequential
My personal choice would be a honda type r engine and a sequential.
94 v8 should (i think) be a full serpentine, just before that poss 92-93 they did a partial v partial serp setup. someone may be able to tell you for definite. sorry its a bit vague, but may point you in the right direction.

I ran one on my old racer, lock to lock and flat out used to make it puke its guts everywhere. Once the 13 row cooler was fitted I never had a problem again.
I've had a Hobbart now for 4 years, very comfortable, and flexible for getting in those tight places. was about £100 4 years ago. but well recommended.
