hi id probably have to have a look . iv done a few of these at work with the same problem and one particular one had a blown ecu in the end up. the only way to check that is to change the ecu for another td5 one and try that but remeber youll have to program the injectors into the ecu first. hope this helps

hi all . iv just driven my land rover home its a discovery 200 tdi, i noticed the exhaust was making abit of a judder, which brought me to hearing another noise. when i press the clutch peddal it sqeaked abit from underneith. any ideas why or is this normal? sorry if it sounds a stupid question. cheers chris

hi. all land rover repair centers do is take the head off and use wet and dry on a block of wood and it will be fine make sure you do it even qand dont be tempted to rub the areas that are darker. leave them just go over the whole top with wet and dry. it saves money and works exactly the same. iv litterally just done mine on my 200 disco. and works fine. also id just fit a 3 whole, thats what we do at work. everything works fine. also id sort your sump out whilst youve drained the oil. you ll have to change it anyway. also not teaching granny to suck eggs but if you dont know change the filter as well. head bolts iv never had to change them yet. but im sure there not that expensive. if theres owt else i can help with just let me know . chris

no worries let me know how it goes
-
hi , it fairly self explanitary. just have a look at it and you be fine. list of parts and part numbers are here for you. water pump ERR7047 set of seals 3 in total. PFQ10001L id have my new water pump and seals ready for when you take the old one off, so you can copy how all the seals go on for the new one. also take note of where each bolt goes. its litterally a bolt on bolt off process. if you need any more help let me know. hope it helps chris
