  4. Try the scrap yards or E-bay for a Audi A6 est rear load net, large & tough, been on for a couple of years at least, decent quality
  5. If i remember right, (was a while ago when i fitted one) But am sure on the 90 i fitted a seat to, the back rest had 2 locating prongs, which when bolted loosely to the seat back, slide from below in two elongated slot in the tub top rail inner panel,,,, Then a fiddle to tighten all up, This then held the back rest to the rail, then 2 bolts on the base frame towards the rear, then the base could fold up
  6. Guys You have 2 pubs The Holman Clavel Inn Culmhead Out of site, turn left, across Xroads and on right or Merry Harriers, Clayhidon out of site turn right, past quarry then on the next Xroads on left Most go to the former

But, the box can always be sold on rather than left in the vehicle !! thereby retaining some of the original outlay Would agreed with Ian, a ECU remap is the better way to go terms of driveability etc, if intending to keep the vehicle for a while, Limited experience with remapped LR products, but do about 3 remapped software download a week into Volvo's and certainly show a improved drive over the tune box's Ian,, any developments on upgrading the Puma engine yet ???

I have been using a PSI Tune box Mainly as i do not keep my vehicles long easy to fit & remove, Have been using them for the last 4/5 years, ( not only on LR vehicles, but other as well ) no problems whatsoever, and as i always seam to get poor (read carp) consumption, with or without one fitted, now waiting for a 07 version Chris, the offer is still open , if you want to "borrow" one for a while
  12. Another vote for Mintex and Questmead, Use them a far bit over the years on the competition side, even made up some specials to try on the last Ypres rally, excellent
  13. Had a FL2, as a loaner when the Defender was in the ABS (first time !!! ) Biggest disappointment was Calling it Freelander !! as completely different beast, !! Certainly much bigger vehicle, and why also call it TD4 ??
  14. Pot/Kettle , Victor and all you have to do , is screw a plate on Even Jim has got futher that that,
  15. Am with Clarkson, and his first rant of the series !! darn Wombles
  16. James,, am pretty sure our old washer was a 550c, and may still have the destruction's somewhere ! Funny feeling ours did the same thing, but for the life of me, can not remember the cause of the problem !! when/if i find the manual, it may remind me !! Our washers run on 1/2" feed, no problems
  17. ?? Been told, that the 07 & TD5 are different,, but only the fitting kit, etc, where is goes into the wing Think the pipe etc is the same Edt to add, Mantec have no stock left at present for 07 year, if you have a recent TD5, (ie last year or so) they recon it will fit !!!
  18. Chris,, when you speak to them, see if the 07 version is in yet,, belive they were backordered !!!
  19. After half a hour left open,, plib in pocket, The 90 will not start, reattach the plib to keyring, and without pressing the unlock, starts fine,
  20. Certainly the Mantec, is a more snug fitt
  21. Ok,, 2 days ago, a 06 year 90 "Silver Le" would rearm itself if left with the key in or taken out, only way of starting was by pressing the plib unlock Yesterday had a play, ??? but certainly did not enter any lock codes as above Now, the vehicle was left at 0800 this morning with the key/plib in the ign, just been to it now, and starts ok, without touching the unlock button, Now going to take the key out and leave unlocked, will see what happens
  22. Chis, you have seen one, or close enough, same as fitted to the Sport, The one i have has been modified already, with some extra slot in the top, to cure wind noise, but suppose on a defender, do not matter so much Have a "new" TD5 Safari one sat here was going to be fitted to the 07, but would seam they are very slightly different Would agreed with Lewis, not the most attractive in the world
  23. Not these 2 Stephen,, !!! Both need the unlock button on the plib pressing, before the vehicle will start !!! Previous one's, including current 07 does as you describe
  24. Mmmm.. now had 2 different Defenders in 2 days that active lock !! ie the immobiliser self arms with or without the key/plib(fob) in the ignition !!
