  1. Hi, Again thanks for all the help on this. I have eventually gone with Lee at customvinyl. Great communication and sends options to be viewed. He does stickers, wheel covers and T-shirts as well. Cheers, Paul
  2. RedX will, after a 10 minute run before the test!
  3. You have valid point Fridge. I have looked at it several times and with the incorporated capital letter it does break up what is quite a long web address. If my vehicle drives past it needs to be as memorable as possible. So if it is black with white border on red, then what about the black wheel cover, that surely will need to be a simple white lettering?
  4. Thanks, Just measured the tyre cover, 80cm across. I would prefer the tyre cover to be printed rather than stickers. Is that possible? Can you PM me with some prices. I have read the thread regarding the lettering. I must admit the two capital T's does look good. However, everything else like business cards, web site etc is in lower case. I think it would look odd to have different styles depending on what the customer is looking at? What do you think? Cheers, Paul.
  5. Thanks Guys for your efforts. I do like the black with white border, but I am undecided about the Capital T's or not. The bottom line is I need these as stickers and a wheel cover. Do any of you Guys do both?
  6. Me and lots of choices!!?? It is good of you to point out the differences, and yes I do now prefer the top one in black with a white border. Definitely goes better with the red. Cheers, Paul.
  7. I think the green with white border looks good. I deliberately went for a straightforward font as if it looks too busy and complicated the name can easily be missed. I thought the wording was quite long anyway without causing confusion during a quick glance. They need to be 75cm long and 8cm high. Can you manufacture them or do you design only? The same goes for the wheel cover? I need to get moving on this as I am now moving lock stock and barrel to Transylvania in August and I have got 10 zillion other things to organise like boreholes, bathrooms and plumbing! Cheers, Paul
  8. Fantastic response, thanks. This is what I need:- transylvania4x4tours.com Big enough to cover the width of lower rear side passenger doors on each side of my Defender. I'm not sure about the colour though. Green on red?? What sort of price are we looking at? I also need a wheel cover with the same logo plus telephone numbers. Do any of you do that as well? Cheers, Paul.
  9. Thanks for this. I have sent them an e-mail to see what they can do. Cheers, Paul.
  10. A friend of mine in Cambridge had magnets on his van for a landscaping company. They were nicked by a Gypsy family who started trading for cash in his name. To cut a long story short it caused havoc to his business and the police refused to retrieve them from a 100 strong Gypsy encampment saying it was far too dangerous for them to do so.
  11. Hi, Can anyone recommend a company that supply body panel business stickers? I don't want them full length of the Defender, just on each of the two front doors. I think stickers are preferable to the more expensive paint job option or nickable magnets. Any thoughts? Cheers, Paul.
  12. I am not sure where my original thread has gone? Anybody know where it is because I can't find it anywhere? Ralph, I have an update on the 4x4 in Ojdula. Turns out it is not a GAZ, it is an ARO copy. You can just make out the number on the bonnet in my original picture wherever that is. Here is a thread for interest. http://www.abc.se/~m9805/eastcars/showcar....003〈=en Cheers, Paul
  13. Thanks for that Geoff. I must admit I have refused to subscribe to these ranking services and stuck with the sweat and tears. What bothers me is that you have to be pretty specific when searching for my site. I know that most people if they are looking for such a holiday will probably only use Transylvania tours. I have altered the text slightly on my home page to increase keyword use. Will now wait for googlebot to make another visit to see if that helps. Cheers, Paul.
  14. Thanks, but I don't think many potential customers are going to put 4x4 in their search. If I could get that high on the page with just Transylvania and Tours I would be really happy. Cheers, Paul.
  15. Hi, I have added oodles of content to my site as was suggested and I thought after all these months I should have made it to page 1 or at least 2 on google. However, I am lucky if I get to page 3 or 4. Why do you think this is the case? I have tidied up the pages added robots to help the spiders, even added a map. I just can't work out why it is still rated so low? Any ideas? Cheers, Paul.
  16. I can find mats on e-bay but not the tray type. As for a dealer, one mortgage is enough thanks!
  17. Can anyone recommend a place to buy those nice tray like rubber mats for a Defender 110. My CSW carpet mats suck up water like a sponge leaving a constant damp smell. Cheers, Paul
  18. Well I have eventually got my base sorted out. I didn't have to build after all. I found this place in a village not too far from where I have my land. In fact the plot was bigger (1000 square metres) and the spec of the building is similar to what I posted in November. Garage big enough to hold two land Rovers and an annexe with two rooms and a store room. There is a ladder that leads to a loft also. The small building in front is a log cabin for friends.
  19. Did they build a copy? If they did that could explain the Aro badge. Also there was an M in front of the type number. I should have wrote it down!
  20. How do you do it Ralph? It took less time for the correct answer than it did for me to post the subject! What threw me and my local friend out was that an Aro badge had been welded to the bonnet. He stood their for ages scratching his head saying he was convinced that it was Russian. Your photo is interesting because I couldn't work out why there was a turn screw near the bulkhead. I can now see from your photo that it was there to secure a lamp. Cheers, Paul.
  21. Hi, I have just got back from Transylvania. Walking through Ojdula village yesterday and came across this vehicle. I eventually met up with the owner and managed to find out what it is. Anyone like to take a guess?
  22. Recognised on Google at long last! Thanks to all for your tips. Paul.
  23. Here is my 100 euro baby! She joins the family on Feb 24th. Here is the roof damage after she took a roll in the wind!
  24. I will lend you my 100 euro caravan for a holiday to Hungary. I guarantee you wouldn't sleep in a layby. My colleague is a Nurse of more that 20 years experience. She says she has never slept in later than 8 am. The only day she has ever slept along with the whole family until 11am, all with a headache, burgled and door swinging free, was not down to to an extra lager at dinner! Cheers, Paul
