  1. even if the fuel pressure was droping it would be restored when you turned the ignition back on and the pump started up
  2. and there are two heater hoses in that area as well

  4. my 90 was £260 fully comp with 200tdi, conversion rear axle change for disk brakes, different seats fitted, colour change, a bar, clear type halagon headlights, aloy wheel, spot lights, and i was only 25 (now 28) with 3 years ncb and got a 100% pay out when it got nicked last year not so cheap now but still the best i can get(also insured for buisness use for the last 2 years) its now £540 on my td5 disco
  5. has the steering box been tightend up if so it has been done a bit to mutch and needs backin off 1/2 a turn

  7. save your money and get a propper remap but you will still see an improvement with these plug in boxes

  9. my old jeep grand cherokee had one and the diffs are very expensive and dont last any thing like land rover ones but it did have LSD in the rear but these still ware
  10. if you have not changed the air bags then this will be the first thing to do and 90% of the time it will fix the problem

  12. is the correct temp sender and guage set up used along with the ecu could be worth running with a nanocom conected to see the temp reading (if you can get your hands on one)and a td5 thurmostat has a valve in it that opens as the engine speed is increased but if the water pump is weak then it dont open

  14. if you are thinking of buying a disco with ACE check the condition of the pipes if they are very rusty then make sure the price is right as thev are VV expensive £5-600 a set plus fitting

  17. on a tdi i take the engine out but a td5 the boxes come out there is to many pipes and wires on a td5 engine
  18. fuel coolers are only avalible a one piece a common problem and not a cheap new part try breakers or ebay (and there are 2 types)
  19. is the noise on the out side of the car or the inside of the car if its on the out side then its the pivot on the clutch arm easy to grease after you have droped the gear box if it is any thing like my 90 it will do it for many years
  20. 99.9% sure discovery hubs and range rover hubs are NOT the same and there is nothing to stop grease getting on the abs ring on genuine hubs it dont matter if it does
  21. just fitted a island 4x4 bearing to the back of my disco worked but dont seam as good quality as the timken bearing i fited to the front abot 6 months ago but only time will tell the next one i do i think will come from here http://www.foundry4x4.co.uk/Land%20Rover/P...ts.asp?cat=4003 but more money but a genuine part and range rover bearing wont fit unless you fit the rr axle i took the old front bearing to bits and there are no replace able parts

  23. 5th gear and stand on the brakes no problems hand brake and a brick under the wheels will do
