  18. hi paul its not the brand thats most important its the viscosity...sorry didnt realize this engine has had low pressure over time,, worn bottom end (bearings) is the usual cause of low oil pressure, loads of people go straight for the pump..the oil pressure is built(backed up) up by the bearings. with your thin oil and wear your gonna have low pressure... try thicker oil mate
  19. you wont cause any damage with your dill try this method before looking in sump. ive seen blocked strainers after head gasket changes, what grade oil are you using? ive always used 20W50....and decent stuff at that.
  20. hi paul the distruibutor turns clockwise you should feel the pressure coming on with a drill within a few seconds 10 or 20...... i like this way best less wear did you have the heads off? blocked strainer!

  22. hi use 24 spline hubs and hub carriers shafts and diff, ive just done this on mine because of leaking oil on disks,10 spline on hocky sticks,so not an easy axle swap.. i used a 24 spline disco axle for the parts, did need to change a few of the studs on diff for longer ones. 3 hours job done cheers luke or go to kam im sure there shafts fit with there metric imperial hubs...i may be wrong ask HFH
