  2. the smart load will work.....its just a shunt resistor to put a bit of amp draw on indicator leds.....to correct the low amp draw rate of led.....thus corrects flash rate with your std relay....... luke

Ive got river runners on mine they didn't come with load resistors or relay.(second hand).... my indicators flashed at twice rate so ordered a relay of ebay for leds...it was pined wrong for my flasher socket so i made a link lead to swap 2 pins.... now work fine.....its easy with correct relay...mine is the same as this .http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fix-LED-Flasher-Unit-3-Pin-Relay-LED-Bulbs-Indicators-/130605750709?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e68b599b5#ht_2905wt_ luke

  7. on a play day last sunday i noticed the brakes seamed to go soft with no return from pedal...after crossing a stream.. ..it was like air in system...flicking my foot under peddle to pump back up....they stayed good till trying a bit more water....same effect..(stream only 5 or six inchs deep and not driven fast)...ive drove it 50 or so miles since all seams fine no pulling or bad peddle pressure...why?..... rrc axles rrc early sevrvo v8 efi

  9. leads 5 and 7 can cause a lot of misfires.....routing ... cap and arm condition ?
  10. its all about who is borrowing said tool......someone like myself would return in good order,or replace if i did broke said tool.... some people are not the same.....i lent a snapon lever BJ splitter to friends son wish i hadn't,,,, came back with the treads on the arm mashed.....his answer "well its snapon so got a life time warranty" snapon man " abused no warranty " lesson learnt
  11. right guys.......newbury is coming up and i want to build a stronger 10 spine for front of my truck...... its a rangerover axle early efi i know 24 spine is the way to go....ashcroft, kam, .shafts Cvs,,, but i have a 10 spline truetrac fitted already.......although ive only broken shafts 3 or 4 times cvs have never gone on me... devon 4x4 have 10 spline gkn shafts though spendy.....as crown diffs sell stronger shafts not sure on make... so i need Cvs,hubs,drive,flange,shafts...???.......from which axle ..????...... cheers luke

  15. i also wanted to do this on a discovery i built.....ended up with tank on the rear floor....imho not enough room....also the reason i later sold it.......cant stand the smell of diesel

  17. I like them,good in mud sand clay,spin them up they clear the treads quick time..side ways grip not that good.....another story on the road noisy and hairy in the wet... i going to airing down next trip out......second air lock....like stauns more tread in the mud cant wait luke
  18. I paid £108 each for my recip maxi's three years ago....they were hard to track down ...i also saw the forum posts saying they were £60 each.... fisherman's tail !.... luke
  19. I would call them......they have stacks of parts books and know how to use them. ....also they get parts in very fast from the states..... a few of them that started that business were from wolfrace / john wolf racing..years back...hence the knowledge there... cheers luke

  23. ive got two cvx 1000 amp jobbies on mine there very good also from Tayna batterys very good service also got one on my dads cadillac to replace the odyssey 1200 that only lasted about 2 years luke
