My Father was the man who i blame and also my wife blames, as he showed me a picture when i was five of him going omani waddi bashing in Oman in the 70's in a early 3 door rangy classic. And then him self owning a fair few landys. I also blame the Armed Forces as from a little boy i was always seeing them on convoys and that was that i am hooked. -

Hi DC i have had new lifters put in to the engine, and all runs nice and quiet now. Hope that helps and you sort yours soon.

I ma running a 3" lift with 235/85/16 and have no problems at all no catching either and i have not trimmed the arches.

Mine pass's all it's MOT with no problems and handles no differently.

Hi Fish do you have a lift on the rangy?? as i have a 3" lift and have 235/85/16 tyres and i don't need to trim anything!!!

Dunc i am already in the dog house for trying to buy a 200Tdi engine today as for the hose i don't know as it was on the rangy when i bought it sorry.

Hi Guy's i am thinking of selling my Alloys with tyres which are insa thingy's 235/75/16 the wheels are perfect no scratches or marks. So just looking to how much people think they are worth. This is to find some 35" tyres Many Thanks

They are not insulation kits. I think they are for when the Radios are fitted and are meant to protect the crew fron radiation on the antennas i think.

We have two discoverys in our fleet and were bought from new and these are L regs

They were used in Kosovo for top brass and were painted in black and green some found there way to units for general run a rounds, also i think even though it was before my time some were used in the first gulf war. Also on another note the unit i am with use Discovery 300tdi

Cheers Gelf i have already a 3"lift so the clearance is fine just thought it might look neat with the arches on, but i did not want the tyres to look ost under the arches and make me want to buy bigger jobbies.
