Can someone please take a photo of a 200tdi fuse box cover showing the diagram relating to fuse rating and position please. I'm in the process of outing on of the 'orrible glass fuse holders and need to confer with a diagram for the new bit

Erm, the thermostat is no. 17:
up to VIN 5A476242 = PEM100990K,
after VIN 5A476243 = PEL500110
No.7 is a Rail-Coolant = PFV100120
Brilliant, thanks.

This is a screen-grab of the epc, let me know what parts you require the number of:
Tony
Ah ha, that clarifies things a bit. Just the part number for the therostat (no.7) please. Thanks alot

Anyone???

Sorry, I can't work out how to attach files/ pictures from the RAVE CD. What problems are you having as I've just replaced the thermostat on my 99MY TD5. Car would warm up fine but heater output would cool down when car idling and warm up again when revved above 1250 rpm. New thermostat seems to have cured it, but keeping a close checkon it.
Graeme.
Greame,
I've got similar symptoms but I'm unsure whether I've got a partial blockage of the heater matrix. I'm going to replace the thermostat and flush the matrix (possibly remove and examine the water pump too) to see if that cures it. From the WSM I note that the flow to the matrix is controlled by a valve from within the thermostat housing. I was unsure whether this valve was a seperate part to the thermostat/ housing. Part numbers are always handy to have when visiting my local supplier.

That is a beautiful thing. I just haven't got that kind of patience or dedication

I have to say I'm nit sure about that. I think the sheer amount of bling puts me off

I loved it. Laugh out loud television at its best. Even SWMBO had to have a chuckle at 'Big Stig'! I thoroughly enjoyed the special but look forward to a return to the normal (if you can call it that) format next week.

I can't, but are looking for Td5 or V8 for somebody that can?
Oops, TD5 please

Can somebody please put up an EPC page for the D2 cooling system. I'm specifically interested in the area showing the thermostat housing.
Many thanks

I think early Range Rover/Disco non cat auto downpipes should fit, that's what I'm using on my V8 50th instead of having the shockingly badly designed and restrictive cat jobbies. I think you can often get them on ebay from people who have gone for a tubular set up.
Hope this helps.
Charlie
Charlie,
Is your rear section a standard section for the 50th?

I must currently have a 3.5 carb system. The headers on a 3.9 are different with two ports as opposed to one larger port on the 3.5 set up. Also the connection to the Y pipe differs somewhat. Anyone got the pn's for a defender 90 3.5/9 exhaust set up (particularily interested in a Nas/ 50th set up as my vehicle has an auto box)?
Anyone? (I thought Ralph might have been along by now
)

it will not be ready by then.. will it...?
How did I know you'd say that???
4 weeks to garage eviction, so I hope so

Did you have to lop the tunnel about? What was the car originally? I'm trying to work out if a 4HP22 with an LT230 will sit on standard LT77/LT230 mounts under an LT77 transmission tunnel.
John,
Unfortunatley I'm not sure as i didn't put the car together. Adrian Turner built the car. Hopefully he'll be along here shortly, if not give him a PM

3.9EFi exhaust manifolds are almost identical to 3.5EFi, just slightly bigger bore. 3.5 carb versions may well differ though.

Hmmm, I've just seen that there's a limited modification class.....and it's in my neck of the woods. It'd be rude not to really. Now, where did I leave that cheque book (better check with SWMBO first
)

The exhaust is fine. No problems in that Dept.
[Thread hijack] 3.9 headers etc are obviously different to 3.5, what did you use exhaust wise for the 3.9 install. I'm currently going through the process of trying to install a 3.9 exhaust system, but want to make as few mods to the exhaust as possible. (Part numbers would be a help too guys). [/Thread hijack]

so whats wrong with the rangie axle thats been mixed and bodged then?
You've mixed and bodged it, that's whats wrong......if you can't operate a computer (double post above) how am I meant to be able to trust your bodging?
-
Yep, that's right, there must be some difference between the 2 types of caliper, but without seeing both side by side, I wouldn't want to guess.
Ta very muchly
-
Yes, just found those calipers in EPC their for ABS fitted vehicles, will add it here shortly
EPC diagram as promised
So STC1269 is non-abs and SMC000190 is with ABS then?
-
Thanks Ralph, I think there must be a later version of the axle though (With a rover type 4 pin rear diff) as paddocks show both the caliper pn (STC1269) shown on the EPC and another pn (SMC000190) for axles from 1A614448. I don't suppose you have a diagram for these do you???
-
Can anyone with an EPC please upload/ e-mail me a diagram from EPC showing a late 110 rear axle including stub axles/ hubs/ calipers/ discs please.
Unfortunately work won't allow me to run a dodgy copy of the EPC on my machine

When tumble drying gore- garments, remember to fasten up all of the zips and close all of the flaps. Un fastened zips have a nasty habit of making good size rips in gore- fabrics (don't ask me how I know that).
Also tumble dry garments individually for better results.
