You're into custom high angle propshafts I'm afraid - nothing off the shelf will fit. I'd shy away from spacers, as what you really need on the front of a series is a longer propshaft, no a shorter one, as the U/J's bind up otherwise as it runs at too much of an angle.
You have also corrected the castor angle I take it if you've fitted longer shackles, and made sure that your brake hoses are long enough?

I run the LT230 in full time 4wd with a standard series front axle.
You get a small amount of kick back through the steering when at full lock on the road but thats all.
IMHO free wheeling hubs have no place on a landrover. Take them off and throw them away.
I've been through the Ashcroft etc kits using the series transfer box and the LT230 is a far and away better unit - fit and forget.

I've got an Alpine system with DAB. However I dont think they make the DAB tuners any more.

Yes - Snap-on do them.

1. Yes its a weber-standard 2.5 petrolcarb.
2.Yes - its an overflow not supposed to be connected to anything. Shouldnt be wet though really-sounds like your carb could do with an overhaul.
3. As above - sounds like it could do with an overhaul.

Well the first question is have you got the missing bits (ie engagement dog and selector). Without these its about as much use as a paperweight regardless of what it fits.
Looks like its had the mounting holes re-drilled to clock it round a bit for better ground clearance. Not sure what the difference between 1 tonne and standard series is to be honest - I believe the only difference is in the length of the engagement dog as the gears on the 1 tonne transfer box are a different thickness IIRC.
I seem to recall that a 1 tonne PTo will bolt onto a standard series transfer box, but its only when you try to engage it you find that it wont work cos you end up with a gap between the back of the input gear and the front of the PTO input. Might be wrong however......
Either way as I said before - if you havnt got the missing bits its practicaly worthless.

Well I've never seen a 1 tonne truck - that'll give you some idea of the very limited market for this!
I have seen 1 tonne PTO's before - usually becasue someone picks them up thinking they fit an ordinary series when they actaully dont!
i suspect these days that the PTO's are less rare than the trucks to bolt them to are!

IIRC these disks were one offs made specificially for this conversion. Methinks you may be out of luck I'm afraid!
-
That doesnt make any sense to me - are you sure there is nothing else written on it? The ones I've seen have 50:50 or 60:40 or something like that written on them!

there should be a plastic tag (king of like a zippy tie) around an original master cylinder which tells you the bias ratio.
I'm running wilwood front calipers with range rover rears.

I'm running disks all round on my SWB series and you dont need the PRV at all. Simply repace it with a T piece for the front brakes and re-run the lines to suit. Job done.
I run the series dual circuit master (50:50 bias) which I find about right. tonk ran his with a similar setup with the 110 master which has something like a 60:40 bias IIRC which made the front dip nicely under braking and the front wheel locked first.
We both ran with the early 110 servo setup.

Well you didnt have to go where I told you to! Like the guy in the blue disco didnt have to go into that hole........
I only got wet feet in that lake!

Do you have the bolt on type spigot bush as part of your V8 conversion kit? If so it was standard practice when fitting these to hacksaw a few mm off the end of the crank.
IMHO its a horrible way of doing it, but its been done that way for years!

I'd say go for an ingersoll rand over a bluepoint one anytime!
Even snap-on air tools aint that great.

The brass pad wore quickly even though the pad was correctly adjusted. Its nothing to do with adjustment - its just the wrong sort of material!!
Bear in mind there is nothing to hold the slipper pad off the ring gear!
There is a reason things like spigot bushes are made from phosphor bronze and not brass!
Jon

Er.....I can tell you from personal experience that brass is not fine for this application!
When I first pegged my front diff I used a lump of brass cos it was what I had available. After a very short time I changed the oil to check it and it came out a lovelly golden metallic colour! When i pulled the diff to check it I found the brass pad was already severely worn. I think this was after about 100 miles.
I re-made it out of proper phosphor bronze and have had no further problems. The pads do not wear noticeably when made from this.

They dont have bows, they never had bows. To be honest I dont think they ever even had headlinings from the factory! Certainly if they did I've never seen one!
I had a lasalle trim headlining in mine for a while, and that was just a glassfibre moulding.
Most people just glue carpet to the inside of the roof simply to keep the condensation down.

I rate the sealey stuff - seems pretty good.
I've got alot of second hand snap-on stuff, and some teng stuff. Have to say I dont really like the Teng stuff very much.
only got odds and ends of Halfrauds stuff, but as someone says - one a sunday afternoon they were always useful. Otherwise my local factors only seem to stock Laser stuff which is really cheap and nasty!

Ah yes.....its had an axle swap.
Think I'd want to look very closely at it to make sure its all safe.

ATF is the correct oil for an LT77.
If you dont beleive us look it up in your owners manual!

Well going by the fact the ting has no wipers and front lights missing there is no way it can have an MOT.
Hate to think what the failure list would look like.
I'm with JU on this one - thats horrible! I also love the way they didnt even manage to put the wheel arches on straight!
