  1. Hope you are better soon, was worried about you.
  2. The difference between a JCB and a tractor hydraulics is significant.
  3. The reolink kit is frustrating. It's technically very good, but the WiFi connection on mine was rubbish. I don't think it copes with mesh WiFi very well. I ended up wiring mine to the access point. Rock solid eversince. It's very much in the client server school of CCTV, unlike the modern ring/blink phone friendly type stuff.
  4. My trailer winch was stolen soon after I moved here, and some diesel. Cheapo thing. What really annoyed is they took a Honda mover I'd just fixed. No hassle since, and security is a lot tighter here now.
  5. Heard nothing from @Nonimouse but he's mad busy. I might do something unwise. And use face book. I've an account that's heavily distanced from me. Otherwise it's smart guess work. But it will be this weekend at the earliest, I'm behind in my chores: I've to do domestic stuff. Small triumph: I was able to start the lawnmower, my shoulder is sore, but only disused muscle sore.
  6. That's very useful. Makes sense as the sugar lobby were successful in pushing ethanol into the US a long time ago.
  7. Cool. JLR aren't an engineering company, they are a lifestyle accessory company, so not a surprise.
  8. What should I be seeing? The bearings look worn/cage rusty, but could be disassembly debris. The diff looks out of alignment, but that could be an artifact in the image processing. Not familiar with the lt230.
  9. Got a compressor or an air pump? Leak test with washing up liquid. Clean it thoroughly, wet and dry. Tin the whole thing and then blob the leak with solder.
  10. Yes. Lots of flux. It was ugly and unsatisfying, but it held.
  11. Thanks, that's helpful. Especially as I'm on the look out for the pulley that's pictured in the parts book. There's many similar available, but not identical. Knowing the correct and alternate terms will widen my search.
  12. That's very generous, thank you. I've been lucky enough to get the full set of sheaves, new, genuine. Not cheap, but I think I've got the last of them. And they'll fit 100%. I've seen that they seize up at a moments notice so I'll be getting inventive with moisture repellants and making sure I grease them on schedule.
  13. My ignorance showing here: what, exactly, is a sheave?
  14. I know you enjoy the challenge, but I do feel a bit guilty at all the work you are doing on my behalf.
  15. Do you have 12v at the stalk? The cliche is it is the earth, so check the earth for the relay.
  16. I think mine broke when the compressor was being moved onto its place in the compressor stack.
  17. It's a joy to see a piece being created. I don't know why, even my crude welding and shaping of steel into something useful is satisfying at a deep level.
  18. Likewise, they were great when I smashed the air filter on mine, so when I was standardising the other compressor, I bought another identical air filter from them.
