  1. I never see these bargains on FB. I suspect it's down to the fact I go into it once a month, and am accessing it via an air gapped dedicated very old device. Using a pseudonym. Probably a good thing. I've no need for more things to do.
  2. Not sure what I'm looking at, not familiar with these modern vehicles. Is it a bit like a Freelander with the diff mounted to the monocoque?
  3. Wishing you swift and complete recovery. The asthma is a constant bother, I find.
  4. @Stellaghost Stephen, you okay?
  5. I drive a Landrover. Made by British Leyland, but I don't emphasise that....
  6. That's very impressive work.
  7. I think they're too wide as well! I'll measure the 110 centre seat. Might be an option, but I'm pushing it.....
  8. Thank you. Too wide. Back to plan A. Three seats along a side in a SWB, that's difficult.
  9. Shame they didn't sell the brand to ineos.
  10. I wholeheartedly agree. But no one listens to me. Probably a good thing.
  11. If you showed up at a main dealer with a tatty working vehicle, you'd soon agree that snagger was being restrained. And Mr McGovern was very clear that appearances mattered as much or more than engineering. I paraphrase but I remember him saying that big rims are a core part of the brand.
  12. So, in essence, they're doing a Rover. Chasing luxury markets at the expense of utility. Then be amazed when fickle wealthy customers go elsewhere......
  13. That would be appreciated,I suspect too wide, but it would be nice....
  14. Exactly. I think. Do you mean that JLR couldn't live up to the heritage?
  15. Does anyone have Smart car seats in their vehicle? I'm looking at options for a project and would like to know the width of the frame, to see if they'd fit in a narrow space.
  16. Sadly we are in a world of increasing wealth inequality. These eras usually end with turmoil, but I remain optimistic/deluded that we've grown and can all see the benefit of better distribution of spending power.
  17. Yes.... That didn't last long, did it? Moved on to the next trendy thing within a couple of decades.... I wonder how long they'll stick with rubber sacks before they move on to something even more expensive, electrically dependent and unreliable.
  18. The last Landrover was made in the early 1980's. Everything else is something else.
  19. Have a look at snaggers website. Nick's Landrover. http://www.nickslandrover.co.uk @Snagger
  20. I'll start working on those measurements you need this coming week.
