Blimy!! I have just cut the grass at my house, then off to Fix a landy axle seals, then cut my parents front lawn (did the back yesterday, it nearly killed me!!) then back for a pint or 2 which will be about 6pm.
Long "lunch" then!
mumble mumble efi mumble mumble
I hope its what we guess at and the battery is shot, hence not powering the EFi enough to make it fire.
Anyone know what the voltage EFi needs to fire?
Ta Rob
So miss fired when hot, so I thought I would change it to my old Dizzy (there is a new one on it at the mo)
Changed the dizzy to the old one and after some wiring issues, it wont start....... but backfired BIG TIME and blew the Plenum to AFM pipe off!!!
Ho hum...change it back to the new one..............it wont start....... but backfired BIG TIME and blew the Plenum to AFM pipe off again!!
Now thats strange!!!
May be this is all to do with the companies getting bigger?
QT (silly name!!) when a small company gave guarantees out as it assures that there product, in the open market, will stand out from all the rest. Also the amount of bits produced may have been limited.
Now they are much bigger they may have more to produce so Quality suffers...........very bad move!!
Lets hope they get there act together soon!
Better gold than orange
Will some kind soul sporting a V8 please take a load of pictures and either email it to me or I will send them a disk with a SAE?
Am intrested in the gap between bulkhead and engine
Many thanks

Ignor those who smell of "Die"sel Rob for they know not the rumble of V8 but the rattle of Diesel.... welcome to the light side (the dark side is when a Diesel is floored!)
So whats best for Burmabright!! Plain old Alloy rivets..... but I want to use ****ersunk bolts with nylock nuts (M6ish) to fasten Ali to Ali rather than rivit!
I can get hold of Radar Absorbant Paint, retails at £1000/1L!!!!
I have been planning designs for my next LR project using SR71/aircraft designs such as.........
....and B24!!
I like the idea of Aliminium bolts/nuts on low stress areas such as bodywork
What counter sunk bolts do they use, are they Titanium or alloy?

Yes my 88 tub makes a purfect alpine plant pot!
Also axles when bolted to a flat bit of metal make a good bird feeder if you bolt a drum brake to the top, added bonus is that you can plant the diff!!
Also engine blocks make good planters and sumps when clean make good bird baths!!
I had all thos in the garden once but got rid of it to make way for modification to the garden......the Landy garden shall return!
