Suck or blow is ok if the temp outsite is cool, but when its 30-40oC then its not as effecient as water cooled intercoolers. Or better still do as Im planning......... Down both sides of the Intercooler tubes that are sealed at the bollom but open at the top....just add dry ice

I have just fitted a freelander high level brake light to my Pivylock wheel carrier.... This I how I did it: Got a freelander wheelcarrier off eBay (about £25 – 40) If you try and lay the whole Freelander wheel carrier over the pivylock wheel carrier it don’t fit! Its too small and also if you try to fit the tyre it will be like this: So you have to cut it up and offset it. Make a bracket up and drill holes: (making sure it all fits together inc refitting the wheel!!) Strengthen it, weld it to the Pivylock and paint it: Wire it up and job done Took me about 6 hours, that includes watching paint dry and taking off and putting the spare wheel on about 25 times to ensure it all fits!!!

No change then

Oh catflap you did get stuck In that Salisbury plain Muck Poor old Les oh he did try To get you out and it made him cry So Les he did cut you up and put bits of you on the scrappies truck But now you are how ya 'orta Cus your 21 inches shorter No longer just a shade of red which most from Les was blead Now its a cool shade of Blue with a diesel that smell like Poo He should have gone for a V8 you know Oh well that the way things go One day soon he will let us see when he smiles with completed glee and we can all see its True That Les has finaly finished Catflap II

Les, looks good but isn't the bottom hose a bit close to the wheel? Why not use a 200/300TDi intercooler as they exit from the rear rather than the side, or is it too close?

I can't see any problem spliting them as long as the person assembling them is compitant to do it (as you are). I think the "don't do it" was started by the manufatures of calipers so you will buy new!!
