I'm looking for a VDO specific one Bowie. The original is calibrated for 4bar whereas my VDO gauge is 5bar. Probably doesn't make any difference but didn't want to find out the hard way, which is normal for me....
Ok. After a little more searching I found a place called Merlin Motorsport selling them.

They do a few different threads though. Which one does the RV8 use?
Can someone tell me if there is a VDO specific oil pressure gauge sender?
I tried looking at the ETB Instruments website for info but the link on their site doesn't work.
Nicked the below pic from a different thread but it shows the exact same port I have on my front cover..
I think manual versus auto is as personal as tyre choice etc.
I prefer the gears changing when I DECIDE. Not when it decides..
That being said, if I spent a lot of time in traffic jams.............................
That's a bugger Nigel. Hope it's not as bad as you think................ But it probably is
I've got an extinguisher but after your story I'm doubting it would be man enough for the job..
Just want to update this.
Skiffy (now renamed Essentra Components) very kindly sent me 4 free samples of the clip I need. They were sent next day delivery, well packaged - and all for free.
Very impressive service, with a huge catalogue of hard to find bits.
I'm looking to fix some 21mm convoluted tubing to my galv chassis. Obviously I don't want to drill holes so I'm After something like item number 1 in the above image but to suit ~21mm rather than 13mm.
Does anyone know if anything like that exists?
V8 or nothing.... Every time I hear a piston slapping, coal burning diseasal I need to hold my hands over my ears while shouting la la la la la......
I understand the argument for diesels re fuel returns etc, but who ever bought a defender because they are cheap to run?! If you want economy buy a Prius. If you want smiles per mile stick the v8 in and roll the windows down. Music
