  1. Or how about Wynns version of the product... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cY1YndLmbXQ
  2. Love it!! Seriously though, pics, pics, pics...
  3. Im erring towards the cam being in backwards...
  4. Im not sure how these work sooooooo... Is it normal not to be able to blow/suck through the MAP hose when its attached to the sensor?
  5. If 7 out of 8 are working, then although not perfect, it wouldnt stop it running
  6. I would think it highly unlikely all the injectors would have seized up. Maybe 1 or 2 but that wouldnt stop it running i wouldnt have thought, even if it was roughly....
  7. Im at a loss with your problem, but maybe one of your questions i can help with. When the injectors are working you can normally physically feel them 'tapping' if you hold a small screwdriver or something to them. Though i guess you will need a mate or someone to feel for that while your turning the motor over?
  8. Im at a loss what gets bolted with the large bolt in the pic below. Its nothing to do with the inner wing as the bolt for this goes through above it. Its nothing to do with the radiator either. Its a considerable sized bolt so something fairly heavy duty? Help.
  9. Hmmmm. You sure? Huge arches - check. Huge wheels/tyres - check. Winch bumper/winch - check. Roofrack - check. Big spotlights - check. Snorkel - check. No radio boxes mind you...
  10. I use large cleaned out jam jars like Rangey above. Labelled M4 - M12
  11. If it does belong to a footballer then James is 100% correct..
  12. To be fair to the guy i think its used for Icelandic exploration trips. Not a run up to Sainsburys and back....
  13. I know, I know!! I was just curious about the door protection. Not the whole hideous vehicle Ps Thanks Neil. Those look to be what is the lower bars on the vehicle in the pic.
  14. Happened upon this pic on t'internet... Was wondering if anyone was familiar with the strengthening bars on the doors? It appears that the lower of the two incorporates the door handle and locks, so additional security as well. Every defender could benefit from additional security in this area methinks...
  15. Love it!! Seriously though, great info there. Thanks Jeff.
  16. Thanks for the link Reb. That Northmalvern bloke certainly did a very tidy looking job with that! And at a fraction of the cost of a new headliner. Top job!
  17. Ive been having thoughts about what im going to do regarding the headlining for my 110. Id like to buy a nice new one but cant see me having those kind of funds available for quite some time So i was wondering if the old saggy ones that you can buy off evilbay etc can be repaired or restored? Has anyone made a nice job of restoring an old cruddy one? Maybe with some pics of the results if at all possible?
  18. Or wearing a hat when its been raining heavily so you dont get wet when you hit the brakes.....
  19. I recently read an article about engine/gearbox mounting rubbers causing severe vibrations. Even some genuine ones. The solution seemed to be mounts from Glencoyne Engineering, which seemed to be made from a softer grade of rubber. Granted this problem was with a 200TDi, which will naturally be far vibier than my RV8. All the mounts on mine are new but appear to be the harder type (as im unable to deflect the rubber strip in the middle of the mount with my thumb) although they are not Britpart. Would it be worth my while swapping them out now, or is the smoother V8 not afflicted with this problem?
  20. Nope. My lights are perfectly adjusted. Also just through mot. Just a lot of anti-biker d!cks out there like to flash them for having their lights on all the time. If the majority of car drivers opened their eyes from time to time, bikers wouldnt put their lights on permanently. Anyway i think were digressing a little. Apart from that i agree with everything you've said
  21. Totally agree with you steve. In fact going back to bikes, i remember when i was doing my lessons roughly 20 years ago. There was a bit of dual carriageway that was 60mph. The instructor said that anyone that wasnt joining at carriageway speed would have a major mark against them during the test. I was never told that on my car lessons.....
