When i collected my rolling 110 chassis, it had a twin front shock setup. The Bilstein shocks look almost new but i decided to remove 2 of them and keep it a standard single shock front setup. Could i use the 2 shocks i removed from the front, on the rear as long as i fitted some pin-to-pin type rear shock mounts, or are they a completely different length?

My new rolling 110 TD5 chassis came with a radiator included. As some of you know, im retro-fitting a 4.6 RV8 into this chassis and i was hoping i could utilize the good TD5 radiator that it came with. Is this possible? The chassis is galvanised and i would HATE to have to cut into the existing rad mounts....

Yeah im just wondering though if i have all the floor support points on my chassis because something doesnt add up. If only i could find some pics of all the floor supports to compare to mine..

Thanks for the reply ralph, but i think you have misunderstood me. Ive prob written the question badly.... My question is how many of these actually makes contact with the chassis when the tub is fitted? Like you have pointed out, i have 12 on my tub but when i look at my chassis i can only see a couple of places where they would actually sit on my chassis...

Could someone please tell me how many of the little rectangular rubber cushions fitted to the underside of the tub actually rests on the chassis? Im fitting a van body onto what was originally a sw chassis. Ive noticed that every one of the transverse tub braces has these cushions but when i look at the chassis i can only see a couple of places where they would make contact. Is my chassis missing something? I wont be able to get pics up until next week though to let you see visually what i mean....

Does anyone sell an access hatch kit for a 110 TD5 in order to get to the fuel pump without dropping the tank?

Scratch that! Just found out its 7/16...... Least i got the UNF bit right....

Would i be ok to use the standard TD5 fuel tank and pump to run my injected 4.6 RV8?

Does anyone know offhand what size the bolts are that secure the seatbelts down onto the tub? I think they are UNF but not sure what size exactly. They look about the UNF equivalent of 10mm....

Took a troll through the dinitrol site to see what i could buy to best protect the inside of my new bulkhead, but there are soooooo many different products i dont know which would be the best one. If anyone has any experience with this stuff, your advice would be greatly received..

Yea - they will prob rot before your very eyes! Weird one though as no-one ive spoken to has any idea what is supposed to go into the captives.....not even the dealer! Come on - some landrover anorak must be up for the challenge! What are the captives there for!?

I recently bought 4 new body mounting brackets for my 110 build. 2 x NRC7053 and 2 x NRC6951. Now the inner mountings (6951) have a plate with 2 captive nuts welded in. Does anyone have any idea what is supposed to screw into these? Its the only difference between the 2 part numbers..

When funds permit i will be fitting a full old man emu setup to my 110, but in the meantime will the standard length shocks be able to accommodate +2" springs?

Is Bonda zinc based primer suitable to use on aluminium or is there something better. I know Bonda is a very good primer to use on steel but wasnt so sure about using it on ally... Any thoughts or experiences?
