  1. Ralph have i got this right? item 12 is part no MWC1820 but what is item 14? Does that not show a rear capping? Also, is there not a panel that goes between MWC1820 and the sill? Because its this that has the big hole.. Basically two bolt holes have become one huuuuuge one
  2. Cheers Ralph.. It doesnt really look like that in the parts book.. prob just a bad pic..
  3. This is what i mean. Here is what my tub-to-chassis mountings look like. Its even worse on other side... Now, to the right of the pic where the sill bolts to the tub is where im talking about. On the other side its so bad, the sill has nothing to bolt to. Its just one big hole. Would that section come with a new wing or tub, or can i buy it separately?
  4. Its not the door pillars im on about, its the bit at the front of the rear tub that the front door locks latch onto.. they are rotten as a peach at the bottom on both sides where the sill bolts go through..
  5. Theres always one isnt there.......
  6. The fact that i already have the tub off the chassis sitting on a table should make life easier then... Is there any special sealer i should use between the panels? Also, the panels that the door lock strikers are on are completely shot as well. Can these be purchased new or will i have to use the ones that come with the new tub?
  7. Would it be a simple enough job to swap over? What would be involved?
  8. I got my V8 chassis mounts and engine mounts from britcar and lrseries...
  9. How about this for an idea? Ive seen loads of good 90 tubs going for not a lot of money. Could i take the rear bulkhead off a 90 tub and fit it to my 110 tub?
  10. more specificly, the 3.5 mounts are exactly the same as a 4.6..
  11. just noticed buckley bros doing them at reasonable price...
  12. A 90 wouldnt come close to taking an akita, tools and all my camping gear.. Also there too unsettled at speed
  13. A dinky little 90 couldnt carry all my gear... in fact it could hardly take a good sized dog..
  14. Is the army hogging all the spare parts or what???? Looking through eblag for new 110 rear wings as LR want ££££ for them. Absolutely spoiled for choice if you have a 90. Buggered if you have a 110.... What gives
  15. bummer. thanks for looking for me though guys....
  16. Yes thats the bit, only the lower portion where it bolts to the chassis.. there is a joint between the lower portion and the rest of it which was what made me think there might be a panel available?
  17. Hi Ralph. Sorry, its a hard-top..
  18. I may end up having to do that.. If im honest im a bit of a stickler for things lookin original though. I cant really see how its attached to the rest of the tub with all the carp in there. If its ally would it not be rivetted?
  19. Does anyone know if you can you buy a repair panel for the rear tub of a 110 where the tub bolts onto the chassis behind the seatbox? Due to our faithful friend electrolysis, mine is practically non-existent in this area and i fear if a repair panel is unavailable im looking for a good second-hand tub...
