Reading through Haynes Defender Restoration manual and on page 48 it mentions a company called PWB who appear to sell/rebuild doors with plastic coated frames. A quick search proved unsuccessful. Anyone got any info?
Thanks Ralph but ive just floated an m10 around one of the captive nuts so i reckon i need to tap out to bigger size as someone before me has damaged it...
Oh blimey, i think one of the captive nuts must be stripped then because ive just floated an m10 (albeit a fine thread) straight in and out of the captive...
Could someone please tell me the size of the bolts that goes into the captive nuts on the crossmember that the front of the fuel tank cradle attaches to for the above vehicle.. cheers

Due to my microcat taking the hump, im looking for the numbers for the following to suit 110 td5:
fuel tank retaining strap nuts/bolts
fuel tank guard nuts/bolts
trailing arm mount nuts/bolts (front end)
gearbox crossmember nuts/bolts
If anyone happens to know the sizes of these that would be a great help too.. cheers
A friend suggested he fancied making a trailer using the rear of a 110.. Now im sure ive seen that exact thing somewhere so had a little search but i cant find anything. I cant remember if it was even in the uk. Can someone shed some light...
IMHO you wont notice a difference... hardly any meat will be coming off the rods. It would be different if it was a high revving race engine. i think you'll be ok
The panel where the door lock striker attaches - can i buy this panel or is part of the tub itself as its practically non-existant on mine.. Sorry for all the questions Ralph
