Its all made by staffa, no mods to it at all, I bought it from ebay as a full kit, I have not seen this type before but it is listed in the manual as a optional extra, Carl.

Be carefull with a push bender and cds as it may well not work on thinner gauge, you can use your ram from your push bender and make a rota press, it uses rotery dies and works like a draw bender, mine does up to 2" od about 3.5 mm wall, it does very nice bends and is easy to make, will take some pics and post them up tomorow, Carl.

Enjoyed the event, good to get back into it after a short break, some tricky punch's to do, managed most of day with broken rear halfshaft and a minor 'MISSING' woodruff key on pump ey john, Hope somone got some good photos of our last punch, 29 i think it was, Carl. -
take a pair of axles and a car trasporter/trailer and collect yourself is probably cheepest or best option, Carl.

Book a double pallet and tell them you need a tail lift both ends, try austin wilkinson 01942 887000 they have done all shapes and sizes for me so a axle is no hasstle, Carl.

Have you looked at jag V8s, Any post 2001 as earlyer have some liner issues,lots of ponys and already coil on plug set up, it is not the simplist route as adapters are needed and a stand allone ECU but a lot of engine for your money, building 2 up at moment, both 4.0l one a supercharged onto 4l80e auto with lt230 trans box, Carl. -

Keep it simple,You will finish truck quicker and then addapt/modify it as you learn or or break things, To many people start with big ideas and then never finish what they started, sounds like you have basics sorted and see how you get on, Carl. -

Is there much differance in strength between a LT230 and a P38 borg warner trans box, I know the outputs are on opposite sides i just need to know about the internals Carl.

Its do-able on any chassis,is a galv unit worth it if you are going to damage the chassis in off road use, you will most probably kill the chassis before it rots, lots of people have moved the rear axle back on their 90's , Carl.
