  1. I drive mine like i stole it,and never really lock it up on the road spose it depends on how good a driver you are!!!!!!
  2. Lookin good mate The only thing in my opinion (for what its worth) i would have made the rear stays straight i know you wanted to save the load space but they WILL bend if it all duz go T*TS up. Chris
  3. Lockheed pads (VERY good) i have used them on slow speed applications i.e landrovers etc good wear rates etc Pics i will sort in the morning i am real busy at the mo. Postage £10 will cover it (TNT) Chris
  4. Nige looks really good mate, was it actually perspex you used or was it lexan? Chris
  5. Unless you want to spend in excess of £600 for AP/Brembo/Alcon calipers i would stick to the std calipers. You wouldnt really gain anymore performance from the AP/Brembo/Alcon setup other than a weight saving. I can do you a set of my own vented discs which have 6 groove pattern and some pads that will work (not some c**p painted green) for £137 inc vat + postage!!! Let me know what you think. Regards Chris
  6. What calipers do you have fitted at the moment?
  7. Ok ben i will sort a price out for discs and pads.If you can pm me your mobile number i will give you a call in the morning with a GOOD price.
  8. BEN Headhunter (john) I will price up a kit for you both if you like. John i know you will need vented as yours is a 110, Ben what do you need vents or solid? I have got a few sets of BREMBO and AP LOCKHEED vented in stock (6 groved pr side),but no solids. But i could have some done and sent if needed by thursday/friday next week. Chris
  9. If i where you i would bite the bullet and give it to david at ashcrofts to do!!! I used to build boxes every day for various subarus and other types of comp boxes and to this day i wouldnt go into just quickly rebuilding a box of ANY type without having a good selection of sims etc and the right tools to do the job right first time.I am sure the ashcroft lads would look after you. Chris
  10. Nene vally tyres, speak to gary he will do the best deal around.
  11. Nas90 dnt take offence i was just on the wind up fella. ARB is on its way,i know kam stuff is good, thats why i have stuff getting done by them at the mo for another projct. Chris
  12. ARB is orderd and on it way!! Cheers for all your coments. Ashcrofts as helpfull as ever,on the ball no messing around etc cheers David Chris
  13. NAS 90 Sorry about the wording DID,NT realise i was going to get a picky fool trying to be funny!!!!!!!!! I was just testing the water regarding who used what and what for,i know excatly how they work mate transmissions is my bag,i only did the WRC with subaru as a Gearbox Tech for several years!!!!!!!! SiWhite Hobit I was going to go for the arb set up,i thought i might get it from ashcrofts.
  14. Any one else got an opinion on which is best?
  15. I am buying a new diff for my 300TDI 90 tomorrow, what would you go for?The truck is for everyday use aswell as trails and whinch comp!!! I know the pro and cons of them all just wanted some feed back on the ones you have fitted to your own trucks before i go and do the deed. Chris
  16. I am technical director for DME MOTORSPORT,WELLINGBOROGH.I am building next years drift car at the mo. S14,2.4 stroker kit,GT35 turbo, side mounted rads, full 26 point t45 cage etc etc oh and itro 650BHP
  17. The discs on your 90 are they solid or vented? What sort of money did you pay for the discs? I have had a large batch of ap lockheed and brembo discs groved to the same spec as our own drift car ones and the results have been VERY good even useing std mintex/ferodo compond pads.
  18. I would run no more than 15 psi measured from the t piece on the turbo. If you are trying to gain more power i would either turn the fuel up abit on boost and or go for a different turbo i,e cut back exhaust wheel, different comp wheel etc.I could sort you out an exchange turbo for you through one of my turbo people for £400 +vat exchange .With that fitted and with the fuel turned up you would gain 40-55bhp and an easy 75lbft torque. Chris
  19. Plus they are running 5 stud wheels!! Bet its a toyota
  20. My heads like a box of frogs at the moment!!!!!! Tell you ,there just isnt enough hours in the day mega busy, just got in now!!!!!!! Chris
  21. Sorry ,i forgot to say. I wil give you a bell next week regarding spring specs. Chris
  22. Hi si I would stay away from tas, they sell some very sub std stuff,i developed some subaru parts for them a while back, after i had finished the prototypes they said they had ,had a change of mind and they were not going to go down that path, low and behold 4 weeks later they where selling alloy engine mounts for grp " n" subarus, just exactly what i had done for them!!!!!! I would be supprised if they havent gone bust AGAIN anyways. I will sort you some springs out next week if you want,i have a few contacts in the suspension world. Cheers Chris (DME MOTORSPORT) P.S I got the x-brake thank you very much,i will be sorting an order out for you in the new year.
