Sorry to say this Simon & i know i will get slatted for it. I have a Scorpion fold up one .It has on many times been the only Anchor that worked & Is very small when folded up. This is due to the blade being very large i think .But i have never tried a X-blade so i cant comment on that.

R&Ps £1500 per car set approx all i need to do is send them a R&P when i get 5 mins & yes the more the better Overdive !! I run an under drive so i presume thats fck that idea. Plus GKN said it wont take the abuse. 4 speed .If i went down that route i would get a Yank box .But my 3 speed is about as strong as they come with what i have had done to it .The 4 speed they can uprate up will be about the £3k to do plus still wont be as strong. Plus different props etc etc. But who knows ,not me thats for sure i just drive it like i stole it & hope it drives it self on the trailer at the end

Had to convert the 404 lever lockers to the ARB air ram switches as there was getting way too many levers in the cab Now with the front & rear wheel drive being selectable its getting even more complicated . But with a front line lock & front wheel drive unlocked the turning circle should be interesting Just fitted a new gismo o the truck Loaded a pc version of an Offroad racer game into the Tablet ,got a joystick bingo something to do between sections .Wonder if it could be linked to memory map 3d

I run a 3 speed Auto with a 1.003 {or whatever} tranfer box with 42" Iroks on 404 Unimog axles. It will run at 60mph at around 4k Low range is way too low probably 8mph flat out So i run an Ashcroft underdrive .So in high range with Underdrive engaged it will do about 25mph flat out ! This is not ideal though so i am in the process of getting some ring & pinions made around 25% higher ratio. This will allow me to use all ratios & run the car more cooly & economically on road sections. Well thats the plan anyway. The transfer box is about to get the centre diff removeed & a spool fitted also front & rear wheel drive will be selectable. Hope that helps.

Hi , I looked into this & spoke with Mark Adams & John Eales & the conclusion was a differnent shaped sump & overfill dipstick by 1 litre . This solved all my RED light & knocking issues when driving /winching on my side . Not that i ever do that anyway B) The problem with the dry sump is that the dry sump canister has baffles in that need to let the air seperate etc & unless you fitted it into a Jiro {or however you spell it} or someting the dry sump wouldnt solve the problem anyway . My problem wasnt on its side or verticaly forward it was when winching on a vertical wall Well that was what i was told but putting an extra litre in was a lot easier as well
