Found a problem today the new front was 80mm wrong on the offset compared with a standard LR setup guess thats why the axle was never in the centre of the car before !!!!!!!! Just hope the gearings ok guess ill find out soon though jez can you see any problem with the rear axle hyraulics running of a 12v powerpack as thats what ive got as i dont want to rely on the engine as i want it completey independant !the pump put out 150 bar apparantly. On the weight issue we recon with using 2 front ,dics conversion ,coilover & alloy rims we will only gain around 200kg on the truck bringing it upto around 2200kg all in hows that compare to yours on Volvos ?

Got me sussed New portals with 4 wheel steer ,3 link & Fox coilovers with 42s got 21" of clearance now

Get the front axle tomorrow & the front rear on sunday along with the hydraulics hopefully!!!!! Coilovers turned up yesterday Got a spare fuel sell????

Thanks for that guys but as Ian said i have a after market regulator no return leaks etc the fuel pump is an external inline type rated to 500hp & will run up to 90 psi .The drop in pressure was so fast that it cant be anything apart from an external leak plus all the plugs are dry !! Anyway i fitted a new external regulator today & it seems to solve it , well at least in the garage anyway until that was the throttle linkage pin fell out At that point i thought i better walk of & come back tomorrow Thanks though

Well ill try & make this quick so you clever boffs can help TVR 500 Rover V8 2 New red top facets to feed new efi inline pump. Ive bi passed the fuel tank & returns by using Jerrys cans so to eliminate tank problems. All new leads plugs etc . The problem is, 1st i run the red tops to charge the fuel lines & gives around 10psil. 2nd turn the ignition key & injection the fuel pump relay comes on the pump goes up to 40psi -relay shuts off & normally unless you start the car the fuel pressure gauge stays around the same ! But now the as soon as the relay shuts off the pressure drops to about 10psi . Turn on ignition same again & so on. If i run the car the same happens but obviusly runs a little pooey but the fuel pumps are all running & getting 12.5V ish so the relay is coming back on. So my question is can it only be my power boost valve{regulator} or can it be electrical ,before i just go out & buy another one. PS still wont go diesel before someone says it

UMMMMMMMMM! 44" boggers no winch & portals 1 winch centre mounted ????????????????????????????? would that count as 1 or 2 ????

Surely decent axles 44" Boggers at 3psi would be as big & work a lot better

Im talking about the shaft size not the actual body !!!!! If not it works fine on mine anyway We art using a standard 4 bolt box {i know but that will have to do at the moment} & yes we tapped it. B)

I know bathtub has got one fitted and I have seen how Brun has fitted his. What bore diamiter do people sudgest? 5/8" ram with 8" travel is what Rock ram use & then just weld a stop at the desired travel. I can turn the 42s with 1 hand whilst using the winch control with the other & so far the PS box has lasted the last 2 events . In MTS we did 3 boxes in 2 days

Just fit a 200amp premier power welder alternator charges 130 amps at 1900rpm can be to your door in 3 days 3 5hp bowmotors -8 roof lights ,2 x 50 amp fans , 2 x 20amp fans & still the volt meter sat at 13V at 2500 rpm Gives me a hard on every time Didnt go flat in Argyll like some OH YER **** I like pink **** **** Edited by Les
