  2. I once bought a stop leak oil from the States but changed my mind and rather changed the steering pump. No leakages and yes I need a truck working when I need it! Must admit do not trust it either.......

  5. I am working currently on clutch td5 99 my 110. I have stripped the poor thing and looks like it is just the chasis left. I just observed that there are leakages on the gear box. More of the seal that holds the gear box to the bell house. And also the tranny's split to the gear box also leaks. Should I get new seals or just give it a good clean and live with it? Also the area where the gear lever (Stick) is also has signs of leaks. Landies are like Harleys, I guess! They leak no matter what. I might be wrong. Help please..... Else I will just change clutch nb .. This pic was taken halfway. Currently the tunnels are all stripped..
  6. Superpro all the way. Truck is so stabilized I barely fell I am in a defender !!

  9. I'd ask this simply because I do not want to crack the knob on the gear stick. I have used locktite to hold the alu knobs I bought for some years back, Do I have to dismantle the gear and transfare sticks on the defender 99 my td5 110? I am about to change the clutch. Help it will be starting very soon!! Thanks a lot.. nb I have read a lot about this topic...

  12. I had leakages on my td5 99 mod and tried changing seals around but upon second try, the leakage was inceasant. Had to dig up a 130 quid or so... Mate break the piggy and get it done once and for all. IT is a dirty job I would not like repeating.
  13. Td5 Defender 99MY 110

  14. Mturi.. That was something .. thanks for that info. I think it has been modified. I did use the first 2 pics from left. That will say say 100080 and LRO 16319
  15. I did change my Fuel Pressure Regulator for 2 years ago and it's started leaking again ( Getting sick of this truck). The old one lasted all the 10 years whiles the new lasted barely 2 years. I has a horrible struggle getting one of the flanged bolts off but got it off with brut force. On the FPR block stands the number ERR 7253. I googled it and it was the part for the FPR Block, My truck is a 99 MY Defender td5 110. I see that LR016319 does not look like the old block. LAndroverzone has a thread where a member had goodled the former part number I mensioned. The discussion was that it has been modified.HAs the FPR been modified? Will the new part cover the engine block in the same way as the old? Or should I buy the block and tranfare the regulator and all its component ? first pic is one from truck. Second is one purchased..
  16. If I had 8 legs/arms i think my main Valeo clutch change would hve been easy!!
  17. I managed to get a real SOLID rock return spring on my clutch pedal. (SWIMBO calves have been built by this ). I did this to offset the pressure on the vacuum pump in the cylinder. Clutch has been on for 4 years now!!
