  1. But your big girl would be c**p at turning an 1/8" dia pin, as said before, don't patronise! I have a reasonable size lathe and a Myford, horses for courses my friend
  2. Les, that was the state of them before delivery to me. As others have said look at some of the older makes, Mine are Pollard, there are Meddings, Warco, Startrite etc. The older drills still hold their value but if maintained and not abused will last for ever. By the way, the shape of your drilled holes has nothing to do with the machine, it's down to drill grinding. Nice Meddings HERE
  3. I don't remember................................................. Worried
  4. Les, I've just bought these. Of no use to you I know but a fabulous piece of machinery! And 7ft high
  5. Problem is some people don't know when they 'don't know what they are doing'.
  6. You have a vehicle capable of doing that?
  7. Well Mr Masses, have you found a pipe for your weapon of mass destruction?

  9. £30 sounds reasonable, most will need 2 though.
  10. I had a Capri (many years ago!) Totally off topic but brought back many memories, sorry.
  11. So much praise for someone who has pointed out what a muppet you are! Next time your in Horsham pop in for copious amounts of praise.
  12. Hi Cliff, you still bu$$ering about with Land Rovers then? May be worth a look at your local tractor/farming supplier for PTO drives. I modified one recently for a customer which consisted of a triangular formed tube with a smaller size inside which provided a potentially very short drive which was easy to shorten.
  13. I bought the non-branded version some time ago,............... carp!
  14. If my memory serves me the three bolt box has a smaller splined shaft. I wait for conformation or a flaming!
  15. QD90 thins with white spirit and sprays easily, drys quickly and is very affordable. What else could one need?
  16. Crikey! They know how to charge!! Like a wounded rhino!!! You may find better prices elsewhere.
  17. Sorry but are we talking about galvanising a rusty chassis here? If the chassis is rusty it will need to be shot blasted first but this will not remove rust from the inside. If you want to do a decent job then buy a galvanised chassis or if you need to modify the chassis then buy a new one, modify it, then galvanise it. If you want to do it on the cheap then remove all the rust, grind, sand and brush, paint it and Waxoyl the inside.
  18. Careful Les, you might be accused of humor!
