  2. mines been winning for a year and a half now. got money for a new pump saved up but not needed it yet. could it be a hole in a pipe somewhere causing it to suck in air?
  3. Then why drive? i rarely use mine the short runs around town i've been doing lately were only because of moving heavy stuff couldnt make the gf walk home the half mile from work with the 2 batteries she got me! simerly helping a mate move a mile ocross town would be tricky on foot. Usualally only use it for long runs out of town
  4. Worked out today that on my last tank of full i got 21mpg from my td5 110!! Thats a bit worrying to say the least though in its excuse alot of them were greenlanning and short runs in town
  5. That looks really good any more pics of inside the extra cab?
  6. Well this is news i thought they was best of the bunch, just shows dont belive the hype i guess. I fitted a Red top today to my 110 all working well so far and the best news was it was free along with another huge battery
  7. Try a local marqueee company for the pin and plate types. The one i work for uses them for our large pole tents alternativly i'm sure if you could get the pins then a plate could be made up easily
  8. Usual way is to reverse a bit in future think before you engage it you dont need it all the time only when you think you'll lose traction, snowy tracks would be ok with out it same as a hardpacked lane but if you cam across a muddy hollow slip in the diff lock but take it out once your clear
  9. He was driving to fast, dangerosly fast for the road drove onto the verg at speed he said he passed the transit at 30mph. That would affect any car no matter how well maintained. the modifications and poor maintance had a lesser affect than the speed. the sentance recived was no where near long enough 2 years is a joke should have been 6-8 in my opinion
  10. I've a Warn 9.5 XP its a good winch and way better than the cheapo ones out there, i got it stupidly cheap and was pretty much brand new to i wouldnt have paid full price for it. If i was buying another i'd look at the TDS godfish or the superwinch ep9 quality for a decent price
  11. Changed my fuel filter yesterday keep trying the purge took about 5 minutes before mine would start and run, think next time i'll tip a bit of diesel in the new filter so theres less air to trap
  12. If you replace the Uj's on the prop you should be ok. i've same set up and when i got it there was a vib quite a bad one, was bout to buy an expensive prop then a mate said changed the UJ's and the vib went
  13. You mean Loddington? Went there about 2006 never seen it advertised as open since then. Pity as it was great fun, tho the trees got a little close!
  14. 1)Well mines got 192k on it with no engine probles at all. Pulls like a train and out runs my mates low millage 300tdi by miles 2)I paid £6k for an ex AA 110SW with more miles a year ago seen a few other ones in the £6-£8k price range. To many dealers have help prices artificially high for to long 3)mine has more holes in the box for extra electrics neever had any water in it and thats when its been in to over bonnet levals 4) I dont know but i've seen them on TD5's so they must be avalible. Overall that one looks quality and a realistic price. I'd go for it. Though it shouldnt be on freestyle alloys there not rated for the weight of a 110 maybe you could use that as a bargining tool
  15. with a 100 inch chassis you'd have to cut the hi cap tub down. if you use either a 110 one or a 130 one. on a 110 you can fit a 130 DChigh cap tub to make room for a king cab. This is what i'd do or if you needed more load space fit a 110 high cap tub to a 130 chassis. I've been looking at this posibility for someting work based the king cab gives room a normal truck cab doesnt
  16. Dave had alot of problems recently with people spamming the forum. i have no trouble logging in the home page is saved to favorites and the site rembers my passwod and username
  17. It's a td5 with standard ratio gear/transfer box and diffs, feels like its undergeared as standard
  18. Thinking of fitting 35 inch tyres to my 110. At the moment its running some 31x10.50x15's and they look very lost in the arches as its running on heavy duty suspension which gives over 2 inches of lift compared to a freinds standard 110. So how much lift do you need to run 35's and those people wo run them how big is the gap between axle and bumpstop? i'll measure mine tommrrow and see how it compares
  19. look for u-pm on ebay got the footwell mats in my td5 110 and there excellent
  20. He drove onto the grass at 30mph by his own admission that its self is dangerous if there was not room to pass he should have stopped. Or passed at a sensible speed
  21. A guy on OLLR installed one in his 12v series link here
  22. that west of peterborough? cant be east cause theres a hill lol. looks pretty firn just a bit mushy in coupole of places due to tractots entering feilds and suchlike

  25. Well set up brakes will stop you well enough and a servo will help the amount of push you need to give on the pedal. he doesnt need discs he just needs his drums sorting out
