pugwash
I'm trying to work out how much it would cost to get the following done to a range rover chassis with standard range rover axles: 1. Axles setup to run 38.5" boggers- ie blooming strong with change of R & P ie diffs pegged and everything 2. Twin ARBs with air pump 3. Multi link front- either 3 or 4 link. How much would the parts cost, and for the technical parts, like setting up the diff, how much would this cost? if i got the whole lot done in one go how much would i have to shell out? cheers Jim

BogMonster
Why don't you ask Ashcrofts regarding 1 & 2 as they do everything required and maybe would fit the lot too?
landmannnn
Parts 1 and 2 come in at £3200 from Ashcroft not including fitting, although diffs ready to bolt in. Plenty of threads on this forum about axles if you search.
white90
More than a set of portals but easier to do yourself and no issues with SVA if you modify the chassis etc. downtime a weekend or two. you could get built ARB diffs and buy the WPE 3 link that is bolt on. And Jim no one likes a smart ass!

Jim, if you wanted to go beam axle with 38.5s I'd probably go 101 especially if you're re-doing all the mounts. Not sure about prices for lockers and disk conversions; you'd have to ask Bathtub. I guess you could just about get away with Toy centres on 38.5s but I think there are better solutions if you're starting with a blank sheet. The upgraded Rover axle market is there for people who can't / don't want to make other axles fit or who end up doing the upgrade in stages. However, 1 & 2 is about £3k depending on who you buy from. For 3, unless you're doing a lot of the work yourself or can sweet talk someone like Dan / Jez / Paul it'll be big ££££ as it'll be custom.
