Gazzar
Melted equals heat, so poor connection somewhere. Dab of copper slip on the contracts should sort that. Plus a good earth. But they should not melt, irrespective.

Maverik
I've given up on those type of bulb holders and lenses, they're ridiculously poorly made even the genuine ones. I think I'm going to be putting the LED module type on the next truck.

Scotts90
Yes, the large grey plug with orange insert is for the towing elecs . Wiper electrics will be dependent on which loom you have. If it’s configured for it then you should have a natural coloured plug along with the nsr light plugs. This does the wiper/wash functions, oddly enough the remote central locking for the tail door (again if configured) comes from the roof part of the loom. Not sure but the loom number is YNN000332 if that helps was thinking the plug was for an electric fuel pump (purple and white / purple tracer) so long as rear lights work im happy which they do wasn't looking forward to looking for that orange plug and trying to connect all the wires, the plug with all pins and seals was around £20 plus your vat made scene to just upgrade all wiring
Scotts90
Ynn000332 lists as a td5 130 loom so probably won’t have rear tailgate wiring. The black oval plug with the purple/white wires is for the fuel pump and sender unit. A plug-n-play 7-pin towbar loom is about £

western
Yes Transmission over heat, if it comes on your meant to stop & let transmission cool down, when the light is off its ok to carry on driving. handbrake wire is white/yellow trace & should be a connection in the dash/main loom near the clutch pedal assembly.
