I have just officially withdrawn my entry

Gutted :(

If anyone else needs to withdraw please be aware that Scorpion Rcaing are most unhelpfull on the phone - I spent 20minutes on hold and spoke to 4 members of staff before I was properly dealt with. They also claim that an outrageous fee of 20% must be paid in order to receive a refund, this they say is an administration fee. I spoke to a gentleman named Colin (who seemed to think I should know who he was and that he was important) who eventually decided that he could waive said fee in this instance.

Its to be expected I guess

I am genuinely sorry that you have had this negative experience in relation to the EuroChallenge

Colin must have got his wires crossed as the regulations clearly state that a full refund is possible prior to the 1st September.

It is so depressing when the organising team have spent so long preparing for this event, that a single un-necessary incident has the potential to generate unwanted negative PR.

I hope this will not put you off competing with the AWDC at future events.

Neil, my dealings with Scorpion Racing will not prevent me from coming to watch nor, from competing with the AWDC in the future

I hold your events in high regard
