They're at it again!

On Radio 2 news - a woman has been charged with drink driving after mounting the curb and killing a baby.

Dreadful news, and my sympathy goes out to the family of the child.

But why oh why do they feel the need to say: "When a four-by-four mounted the curb" :angry:

its not only the bbc now. i sat listning to a local radio sation a few days back.

the 1st story was that of mr butterfied, and how the land rover he was driving was involved in an accident. the land rover's trailer left the road ...etc.

the next story was that of a young lad driving his car which he lost control of at a too high speed and ploghed through someones house killing his passenger .

that is pure double standards.... they didnt say the young lad was driving a citroen or pergeout :angry: :angry:

There should be no grey area with drink driving you either drink or you drive the legal limit should be zero. It makes no difference what vehicle is driven there is no excuse IMO !!!!!!!!!!

As above, if you drink any alcohol at all then no driving.

I heard his on Radio2 this morning and thought what " why refer to a 4x4"

But pleased to see the BBC have revised.
