That's bizzarre - I was stood next to a chap today buying lights & batteries & cable for a Land Cruiser & Unimog who are running as support crew for that. Personally I'm not sure I'd fancy taking a Unimog into the desert, but each to their own.

Still rather have the MAN Ben's driving. There's little reason to have a souped up tractor on heavy portals in the desert, if you're deep enough to need the clearance you're probably well stuck anyway.

...admittedly i found that after scrolling through a rather long list of kamaz's in the final standings
