Exmoor Beast
Any of you local chaps know someone who can spray our new Discovery for us? We want to change the colour to purple to tie in with its new use as a cake van Will
Mark90
I thought you were a paint guru now Will What could possibly go wrong? If I wanted a vehicle resprayed to a high standard rather than a cheap blow over I'd be speaking to Ripley, very nice paint on his old 90 that I have. Will, As Mark says Graham (Ripley) does a suberb job. Though I am biased probably, hes re sprayed my classic Jag to concours condition and used to spray Astons for a living. Forum users who I know have used him include HFH, Chelsea Tractor, and SteveG Worth giving him a ring Dave
Exmoor Beast
rather a long way to go twice though Mark we are a bit pushed for time at the moment to be dashing around the country I would love to have a go myself but time and space prohibit it luckily Will
Mark90
Can you get a bulk buy discount on touch up paint? There's a paint shop local to me but I don't think they are cheap, specialise in TVR's, but they do a lot of work in purple from what I've seen. Jon White
Tonk style painting would work fine for this, casue with no dents in it the roller would cover all of it (Tonk cant use the roller any more casue it doesnt paint the bottoms of the dents). Dulux special here we come........ Jon

SteveG
Yes would highly recommend Graham for quality of work, LR experience and the comfort of knowing you are going to get an excellent job done. Also Will, if it's for the business, have you thought of vinyl wraps? You get colour change and any printing you need and it can be taken off should you need to in the future. Cheers Steve

Cheers Steve Will, give this guy a ring (Phil Heaton 07831 301747) I used to manage his bodyshop up here, but he has moved down Exmoor way & has a few contacts for Paintwork in your area, tell him I gave u the number(Graham Antill) I would of thought he can point you in the right direction. Also many thanks to everyone for their kind words, making me blush
Exmoor Beast
Right I have a couple of local recommendations to follow up. Would Vinyl do the whole body cheaply Steve? I would think it would be a hell of a caper??? Will

I would think it would be a hell of a caper??? Will Not sure. I think to wrap a whole vehicle it's about 1500-2000 pounds. If you are thinking of a complete re-spray and then signage it would probably work out the same. Give these people a call for a rough price, I noticed them when they did the Gumball RR's http://www.totally-dynamic.co.uk/go/home Cheers Steve

honitonhobbit
T&T coachworks in Fenny Brideges near Honiton. They used to do all the LRE damaged vehicles so they are very good
