Porny
Got my 90 back from Chris at www.exactfabrication.co.uk on Friday... It has now got a full stainless 2.5" side exit exhaust, and unlike most other custom exhaust places it is fully TIG welded (very well!!!) and not just MIG'd... is also of a higher grade/better stainless than most other stainless exhausts on the market. Whilst not overly loud, the exhaust note is quite cheeky but not too intrusive.... but brings a smile to my face especially through tunnels!!! I can not rate Chris enough... the standard of the work is 110% (as was the service) and as with any good product, the quality is in the detail - like the use of stainless steel fixings, the quick release mounting etc etc. He even makes the silencer from scratch! Even better, the exhaust is at the right height to give a quick blast of black smoke into the window of a chav's Corsa!!! B) Ian

steve_a
I guess making your own square silencer is a bit easier than a round one? What do you fill the silencer with, just glass fibre? I've got to remake my side exit exhaust at some point (after the other 99 things)
northernchris
Will What you thinking about??????????? Steve I make it square to gain abit more ground clearance it would be a dam site quicker to roll rather than fold!!!! I use rockwool and stainless steel wool depending on application. My motor's got a similar exhaust and I have competed no problems. Just interested, Adrian
